Wheel of Fortune fans have been left questioning whether Ryan Seacrest has been overworking himself after his ‘weathered’ appearances in recent episodes.
As well as being the new host of the beloved game show, the TV personality, 50, is also the host of American Idol as well as fronting his syndicated talk radio show on iHeartRadio.
Now it appears juggling so many jobs might be starting to have a noticeable impact on the star, with viewers beginning to debate changes they have noticed on a Reddit thread.

When one fan questioned if the host looked strange, another fan of the show noted: ‘Yeah I thought too… Like he looked tired or about to crash.’
Another commented: ‘Ryan did look weathered, that “pulp noir” look I’ve been talking about.’
‘I said the same thing, the last two episodes he has looked really old and run down, like different than normal – heavy eye bags, weathered etc,’ one fan wrote. ‘Either he didn’t sleep or went on a bender…’

However, the host’s change in appearance might have more to do with the way the show is filmed.
His co-host Vanna White made headlines this week after she revealed that she only films the show for 34 days each year.
The beloved host – who is reportedly on a $10 million a year salary – made the surprising admission during an appearance on the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show last week.
After the show’s co-host Danielle Monaro revealed she had only recently discovered the show didn’t air live, White explained that filming took place on a tight schedule on set days.
‘We film about 34 days a year. That’s it,’ she told the stunned hosts. ‘But [we film] six shows a day.’
She then joked: ‘Come on. You could feel bad for me.’
Duren didn’t hold back as he responded: ‘I don’t feel sorry for you one bit. That sounds like a great job.’
Monaro noted that White’s tightly-packed filming schedule would involve a large number of outfit changes as she noted: ‘That’s six different dresses a day.’

Wheel of Fortune winner KNOCKS DOWN Ryan Seacrest after win
The radio hosts then tried to confirm if that meant White got 331 days off per year, to which she replied: ‘Yeah, I guess so. I’ve never looked at it like that.’
Wheel of Fortune averaged 7.99 million viewers during Seacrest’s first month, and during that time, the show was ‘the most-watched entertainment series across broadcast, cable, and syndication,’ according to Nielsen data per Newsweek.
In January, it was revealed that the show only saw a slight drop in audience numbers by the end of 2024.
Per The Los Angeles Times, Nielsen data showed WoF earning an average of 7.9 million viewers through December 1, 2024 – which was an increase of three percent from the prior year.
However, the most recent Nielsen figures reveal that rival game show Jeopardy! has managed to top the viewing charts in late January.
The show saw 8,430,000 people tuned in, according to The U.S. Sun, while WoF brought in 8,111,000 viewers.
