‘SO UNFAIR, HE DESERVES RESPECT’ – fans outraged over Ben Shephard being Left Off the List.
Good Morning Britain’s social media post raised eyebrows as it appeared to overlook host Ben Shephard on its 10th-anniversary celebration.

The ITV morning show, which commemorated the occasion with an Instagram post, seemed to disregard Ben, despite his significant contribution since its launch in 2014 before he moved on to This Morning. The post was captioned: “10 years have flown by! Let’s look back at some of our presenters through the years.”
The shared pictures showcased various programme presenters including Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway, Charlotte Hawkins, Richard Madeley, Ranvir Singh, Martin Lewis, Laura Tobin, Richard Arnold and Adil Ray. However, followers were quick to notice the absence of Ben and Piers Morgan.
Piers’ son Spencer questioned: “Where’s the main one?” Similarly, a fan pointed out, “I know you did not just leave Piers Morgan and Ben Shepherd out, they were the reason I started watching that show in the first place.” Another echoed the sentiment, asking, “Where’s Ben?”, reports OK!.

However, the account later posted a series of clips featuring Laura Tobin and highlighting Ben’s days on the show – presumably to make up for the supposed oversight. The post was captioned: “How do you fit 10 years into 90 seconds! #10yearsofgmb.” Ben previously gushed about still being a part of the GMB ‘family’ in a chat with OK! at the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards, where he was there to cheer on his colleague Kate Garraway who bagged an award that evening.
He revealed: “Kate’s getting an award tonight so I thought it’d be good to come along to support her and celebrate that. I’m very much still part of the family, it’s GMB’s tenth birthday today so Richard [Madeley] and Susanna [Reid] are going to come on This Morning to celebrate that as well.”
Since stepping into his new role at This Morning earlier this year, Ben has been co-hosting with Cat Deeley and seems to be loving every minute. He expressed his enthusiasm, saying: “I’m loving it. It’s brilliant working with Cat, and it’s brilliant having a lie-in! The team are amazing.”
Ben also shared his love for the culinary delights on the show, prepared by chefs like Phil Vickery, Clodagh McKenna, and Gino D’Acampo. He added: “I get delicious food, it’s amazing. I’m very easily pleased, if someone is happy to cook for me then I’m happy to eat, whatever time it is!”
