Jesse Watters mocks Fox News co-host for criticizing deportation of innocent man
Jesse Watters has mocked one of his Fox News co-hosts for criticizing the deportation of potentially innocent people for weeks.
News anchor Jesse Watters mocked one of his Fox News co-hosts for criticizing the deportation of potentially innocent people.
Jessica Tarlov has questioned President Donald Tru::mp’s administration for his mass deportations back to El Salvador, including a “gay barber.”
The president has conducted deportations under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, which targets migrants the administration identifies as members of the Tren de Aragua gang — a terrorist organization according to Tr::ump.
On Monday’s The Five, Tarlov raised the alarm about the reports of non-gang members being accidentally included in these deportations, including makeup artist Andry José Hernández Romero.
The 31-year-old was deported to an El Salvadorian prison with other migrants, but ACLU filings have shown that he was identified as a gang member based on one tattoo, a crown with the word mom.

As Tarlov accused the Tr::ump administration of taking away people’s “due process,” her co-hosts mocked her mentioning of the “gay barber,” meaning Romero.
“You’ve been talking about this gay barber and El Salvador with some stupid tattoo for weeks. Weeks, Jessica. It’s just a gay barber,” Watters said as Tarlov mentioned Romero and argued she doesn’t trust that the El Salvadorian government is not “torturing” anyone they receive.
“He’s not into you!” Greg Gutfeld joked before Watters argued the makeup artist is an “innocent guy” who got “swept up in a deportation.”
He added: “A lot of people in this country, Jessica, get arrested for things that they didn’t do, get falsely accused, falsely —,” before Tarlov jumped in with: “I’m also against racial profiling.”
“That doesn’t mean,” Watters continued, “You just stop arresting people. That doesn’ mean you stop arresting criminals because one guy was arrested who was innocent. It just means you just try to do it better the next time.”

Watters joked Romero should be brought back to the US because “gay barbers usually give the best haircuts,” adding: “We should bring them back just for that.”
Later, during Monday’s Primetime, Watters defended the Tr::ump Administration’s top-secret war plans texting blunder by saying it was “no worse” than when Hillary Clinton used a private email server for official public communications rather than using official State Department email accounts.
Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, revealed on Monday that Tr::ump’s national security team added him to a top-secret chat about the military strikes in Yemen.
National Security Adviser Mike Waltz kickstarted the conversation on Signal, an encrypted messaging app, to discuss the plans to bomb the Houthis in the Southwest Asian territory.
The group included users identified as Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
The story quickly went viral, prompting several critics to ask why the administration was discussing sensitive material on an app instead of using government systems designed to communicate classified data.
However, Watters claimed Democrats have had far worse security scandals.
“Did you ever try to start a group text? You’re adding people, and you accidentally add the wrong person?” he rhetorically asked.
“All of a sudden, your Aunt Mary knows all your raunchy plans for the bachelor party? Well, that kind of happened today with the Tr::ump administration.”
Watters dismissed concerns over a security breach and compared it to Hillary Clinton’s decision to use a private email server while serving as President Barack Obama’s Secretary of State.
Clinton’s email scandal blew up during her race to become the first female president back in 2016.
