UNBELIEVABLE MOMENT: Fox News’ Will Cain BURSTS into LAUGHTER Over “ON-AIR INCIDENT” and walks off backstage.
Fox News personalities Will Cain and Brian Kilmeade burst into laughter during a segment of “The Will Cain Show” at the Patriot Awards as they played a clip from The View, in which co-host Sunny Hostin was forced to issue a legal correction on-air.

The correction pertained to previous claims about Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Tr::mp’s pick for Secretary of Defense, who has faced public allegations of s3xual m1sc0nduct and inf1delity. Hostin clarified on Monday’s broadcast: “Pete Hegseth has den1ed any wr0ngd01ng. His lawyer said he paid the woman in 2023 to head off the threat of a baseless lawsuit. No charges were ever brought.”
The moment, intended as a legal safeguard, quickly turned into viral fodder, especially due to Whoopi Goldberg’s visibly irritated reaction on camera. “You rushed me for that?” she snapped at producers, expressing frustration at the sudden on-air interruption.
Cain, clearly amused, shared the clip with Kilmeade, saying: “It’s become one of my favorite parts of media clips—Sunny Hostin reading legal notices with dead eyes.”
Kilmeade quipped, “Yeah, because they’ll get s:ed.”
Cain added: “They’re so afraid of the irresponsibility of their talent that they’re actively intervening mid-show.”
This isn’t the first time The View has had to issue real-time retractions. In November, Hostin read out multiple legal notes clarifying that Hegseth, Matt Gaetz, Pam Bondi, and Donald Tr::mp had all den1ed criminal allegations and/or s3xual m1sc0nduct.
The moment of levity came during Fox Nation’s annual Patriot Awards, which celebrates everyday heroes and military service members. This year’s event, airing Dec. 5, will honor Donald Tr::mp as “Patr10t of the Year.”
