Deion Sanders has talked about getting involved in where his sons will play in the NFL, but now the talks have shifted to him possibly coaching in the NFL.
It’s no secret that Sanders would like Shedeur to play in Las Vegas, but with the no. 6 pick in the draft, the Raiders would need to make some incredible moves to get high enough to take him.
The Las Vegas Raiders have started searching for the next head coach of the Silver and Black, which may lead them to Deion.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal is reporting that Deion Sanders has a “very strong interest” in the Las Vegas Raiders head coach opening.
The Review-Journal’s Vincent Bonsignore cited a person close to Sanders.
The franchise is looking to replace Antonio Pierce, who they fired after the season. Tom Brady’s minority ownership of the team helps matters.
Here is how fans reacted to the news of Deion Sanders having interest in coaching the Raiders:
“Colorado fan base will shrink overnight if this happens,” one fan stated.
“What happened to all those new Colorado fans if Deion leaves?” another fan asked.
“We all knew once his boys were gone, he was gone. Can’t believe recruits believed him,” a third fan commented.
“All those top recruits to Colorado better start working that resume for the spring portal. I’d be more shocked if this doesn’t happen than if it does,” another fan added.
“We tried to tell y’all that this man was going to the NFL, but you ain’t listen,” one fan stated of Deion Sanders intentions to leave Colorado.
One final fan added: “Coach Peime isn’t going anywhere the Raiders are gonna Hire Ben Johnson and sheduer is gonna go to Tennessee or the giants somewhere like that They took what he said on GMA and other shows and ran with it if you listen 👂 Coach prime will tell you what he’s going to do.”

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders’ supposed interest in the Las Vegas Raiders opening is a hot topic of discussion.
Buffaloes fans shouldn’t worry too much as Tashan Reed and Vic Tafur of The Athletic reported that any interest the Raiders might have in Sanders is totally fabricated, saying that the team has “no interest” in him.
In two years at Colorado, Sanders has taken the Buffaloes from a one-win team to a four-win team and then to a nine-win team.
He seems to be on board with returning to the program for the 2025 season.
