BBC Morning Live stars Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton are fuelling romance rumours once again—after being spotted looking very cosy on a spa day together. The duo, who front the BBC’s daytime programme from its Manchester studios, were seen enjoying each other’s company at a country club near Gethin’s home, sparking fresh speculation that their close friendship may have blossomed into something more.
An insider claimed: “Gethin and Helen were all over each other. They are clearly super comfortable with each other and it wasn’t just like two friends hanging out. Helen was really laughing and smiling as they spent time together before heading off in the late afternoon.” This isn’t the first time sparks have flown between the pair. They were pictured looking close at the BAFTAs last month, and previously attended a charity ball hosted by Rob Burrow’s sisters, where they appeared very much like a couple.

“It was very clear that Helen and Gethin were together as a couple at the event,” a source said at the time. “They were with close friends of Helen’s and their connection was undeniable.”
Helen, 41, lives in Cornwall with her three children—Ernie, nine, Louis, eight, and Elsie, three—whom she shares with ex-husband Richie Myler.
The former rugby star left her in 2022 for Stephanie Thirkill, and has since gone on to have two children with his new partner.
Gethin, 47, has also had a high-profile romantic history. The Welsh presenter was previously engaged to opera singer Katherine Jenkins and dated TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh.
Earlier this year, he revealed he had been kicked off the dating app Hinge after users reported his account as fake.
Helen and Gethin’s chemistry has been obvious to fans of Morning Live, but it was their recent joint Comic Relief challenge that really strengthened their bond.
