The Good Morning America news anchor loves to share updates about his family online, and he did just that for his mom, Louise. She celebrated her birthday on January 16, and Michael had to mark the occasion with a heartfelt video montage on Instagram. Sharing moments of the two with other members of the Strahan clan (like Michael’s son Michael Jr. and daughters Sophia, Isabella and Tanita), he let the world know just how much he appreciated having Louise by his side throughout his life and career.
“Happy Birthday to my favorite person … The funny, smart and witty Louise Strahan!!” he passionately wrote in the caption. “Mom I love you and hope you have the best day ever! I’m lucky to have you as my mom and love you endlessly!”

Given how Michael is someone who often showcases life away from daytime television, folks adored how he honored Louise in this special way.

Back on Christmas Day in 2024, the former NFL star documented the holiday with Louise and his two dogs. As the two wore matching pajamas, Michael took photos of Louise opening up presents with the puppies looking on.
