Tom Brady’s attempt to lure Matthew Stafford from Hollywood to Sin City involved a key move at his home in Montana, where they spent time together, including on the slopes.
Brady’s ski trip with Stafford is part of the Las Vegas Raiders’ uniquely influential minority owner’s tactics to bring a Super Bowl-winning quarterback to his team.
Reports first surfaced that they happened to run into each other in Montana. Others have since clarified that there was nothing coincidental of the winning quarterbacks from the Super Bowls in 2021 and 2022 being on the same snowy mountain.
Multiple teams are interesting in acquiring the 37-year-old Stafford should the Rams try to trade him, with Brady reportedly being the most aggressive of the pack, per Jordan Schultz.
Several teams are in need of a new quarterback, with the Giants, Colts, and Jets also expected to be interested in Stafford.
Brady could maneuver in a way many team executives can’t, as he’s walked in Stafford’s shoes not too long ago.

The two Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks were together at a ski resort over the weekend
Stafford and Brady are the last two quarterbacks to win a Super Bowl in their first season with their respective team, with the duo hoping for similar success should they be under the same roof come the fall.
Brady won his final of seven Super Bowls with Tampa Bay in 2021, while Stafford was traded from the Lions to the Rams during that following offseason and won the next title in Los Angeles in 2022.
The Rams have not been able to replicate that success since, falling this past season in the Divisional round to the eventual-Super-Bowl-champion Eagles.
Brady’s influence on the Raiders may already be apparent as he helped bring Pete Carroll out of retirement from coaching and to the Las Vegas’ helm.
The Raiders have also been linked with moving up in the draft to get either Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders.
If a rookie quarterback nor Stafford are in the cards for Las Vegas, the ultimate deja vu of bringing in a 40-plus-year-old quarterback of Aaron Rodgers does exist as a possibility.
