A household name throughout the country, Lee Mack has been a television regular best known for his work on Not Going Out, which has been on our screens for almost 12 years!

At the Races
After leaving school Lee worked as a stable boy in Blackburn. Working with the racehorse trainer Ginger McCain, Lee was allowed for the first time to ride a horse of his choosing. He unwittingly picked arguably the most famous racehorse of all time, Red Rum!

Humble Beginnings
Lee’s first attempt at comedy was while he was working as a Bluecoat at Pontins. His first gig got him sacked for blurting out a profanity!

Mack on the Mark
An avid darts fan, Lee currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most darts number twos in one minute and for over a year held the most darts in inner and outer bullseyes in one minute; the record was broken by professional darts player James Wade.

Royal Service
In 2010, Lee performed at the Royal Variety Performance, raising money for the Royal Variety Charity and, in 2012, he also performed as a host for Queen Elizabeth’s 2012 Diamond Jubilee.

Lee Who?
Lee Mack’s actual name is Lee McKillop, but in school he was known by his nick name ‘Curly’ as he bore resemblance to Norman ‘Curly’ Watts, a character on Coronation Street.
