Queen Camilla’s Grandchildren Give Her Adorable Nickname After Meeting With Famous Singer Leaves Royal Fans Delighted And Curious

She is grandmother to five, and step-grandmother another five…

The royal family is made up of a long list of members who are both working and non-working for The Firm. It grows every year with new additions either from royal babies or through weddings. But what about Queen Camilla‘s blended family with King Charles, and who are all her grandchildren?

Camilla and Charles tied the knot in 2005, officially merging both of their families. They were both married before and had two children with their first spouses. Camilla gave birth to a son and daughter, Tom and Laura, with ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles. Whereas Charles was wed to the late Princess Diana and they had Prince William and Prince Harry.

Not only is Queen Camilla grandmother to five grandchildren, she also has five step-grandchildren through her marriage to Charles.

Let’s look at her growing family.

Queen Camilla’s children

Camilla and Andrew Parker Bowles were married for 22 years. They split in 1995, 10 years before her nuptials to the future king of Britain.

During her first marriage, she welcomed her son Tom in 1974. While Charles and Camilla’s unconventional love story was a messy one to say the least, they remained in contact when they were apart. The then Prince of Wales was even appointed godfather of her son when he was young.

Tom married fashion editor Sara Buys in September 2005, just five months after his own mother had her second wedding.

Camilla and Andrew then had Laura in 1978, and she married chartered accountant Harry Lopes in 2006. Lopes is the grandson of Lord Astor of Hever. Laura also wore a wedding dress by the designer who was behind Camilla’s wedding dress to Charles, Anna Valentine.

Queen Camilla’s grandchildren

Tom Parker Bowles and Sara welcomed two children together. First, they had a daughter named Lola, followed by a son Freddy. The couple split in 2018 after 12 years together.

Laura and husband Harry have three children together. A daughter, Eliza, and twin boys named Gus and Louis. Eliza, Camilla’s only other granddaughter, appeared in Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 2011 wedding. She was just a toddler at the time, but melted fans’ hearts on the special day.

Camilla referenced one of her grandkids during an interview in 2022. The royal revealed she was a Wordle fan and said: “I do Wordle every day with my granddaughter.

“She’ll text me to say, ‘I’ve done it in three,’ and I say, ‘Sorry, I’ve done it in two today’.

“It’s very satisfactory when it tells you how brilliant you are.”

She also spoke about their interest in hair and make-up. The royal added: “The girls are beginning to get into clothes and make-up and, you know, it’s rather frightening when you see them, coming out with pierced ears and a lot of new make-up and funny-coloured hair and stuff.”

In the same interview, Queen Camilla admitted she sometimes picks up one of the girls out of all her grandchildren from school. It’s believed the school is near her home in Wiltshire, however, she didn’t clarify which one.

Aside from her biological grandchildren, Camilla gained five more step-grandchildren years before she became queen.

This includes Prince William’s three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, as well as Prince Harry’s Archie and Lilibet. This also means two of her grandchildren are called Louis!

Special link during coronation

Queen Camilla’s grandchildren had a special connection throughout hers and King Charles’ coronation.

At her crowning ceremony, her dress featured their names embroidered throughout the dress, both her children and grandkids.

She’s previously admitted she gets frequent texts from her grandkids, so it’s no surprise she wanted them to be a part of her special day.

Laura’s twins Gus and Louis, and William’s George served as pages of honour at Camilla’s coronation, along with their cousin Freddy. Gus was seen with a broken arm on the big day though, but he still did his part to celebrate the incredible occasion.

Aside from royal events, they seem to have the same relationship most families have. The royal revealed her grandkids introduced her to group-chatting app Houseparty, and showed her how to use TikTok.
