Former Louisiana State University wide receiver Kyren Lacy has reportedly p@ssed away under tragic circumstances.

“I have confirmed with a family member that former @LSUfootball wide receiver Kyren Lacy has p@ssed away in Houston,” he wrote in a tweet.

Lacy was considered to be a potential first-round pick in 2025 after leading LSU in TDs last season but got into trouble off the field.
He was arrested earlier this year following a fatal hit-and-run accident in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, with his actions allegedly causing the d3ath of a former United States Marine and injuring two other people.
A grand jury was expected to begin listening to evidence in the case this coming Monday.
TPS extends condolences to Kyren’s family, friends, and loved ones through this distressing period.
Former LSU WR And Top NFL Draft Prospect Kyren Lacy Breaks His Silence By Releasing “The Facts” On His Arrest For Negligent Homicide

Kyren Lacy should be training and getting ready for a major change in his life, but instead, that change could put him in prison for a long time.
Lacy was likely expecting to prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft at this point in the year. Instead, he is dealing with the fight of his life.
Kyren Lacy’s attorney has issued a statement this week stating the former LSU wide receiver did not cause the fatal crash that resulted in an arrest warrant with charges of negligent homicide and felony hit-and-run.
Matthew Ory shared that statement on Sunday.
“I wish to address the charges of negligent homicide and clarify the facts surrounding this tragic incident. On the day of the accident, Mr. Lacy was driving on a road with two lanes in each direction. While he briefly p@ssed other vehicles, he safely reentered his lane without incident,” Ory wrote. “The collision that resulted in the d3ath of Mr. Herman was not caused by Mr. Lacy’s actions. The accident occurred directly in front of him when a second vehicle in the oncoming lane crossed the centerline and collided with Mr. Herman’s vehicle, in which he was a passenger. We are of information and belief that the vehicle that collided with Mr. Herman’s vehicle was issued a citation. At no time did Mr. Lacy’s vehicle strike the rear of Mr. Herman’s vehicle, nor did any of the vehicles Mr. Lacy p@ssed collide with his.”
“It is crucial to emphasize that Mr. Lacy did not cause or contribute to the crash. There was no suspicion of alcohol or drug use involved. Furthermore, contrary to some media reports, Mr. Lacy never “returned” to the scene of the accident,” continued Ory. “Mr. Lacy’s actions following the incident, including sharing graduation pictures and engaging in training, were never intended to minimize the tragedy that occurred. He did not believe he was at fault for the accident, and as such, he continued with his daily activities.”

On December 17th, Lacy was allegedly illegally p@ssing several vehicles in an area where p@ssing was not permitted.
Louisiana State Police allege that Kyren Lacy was driving a 2023 Dodge Charger and “recklessly p@ssed multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed by crossing the centerline and entering the northbound lane while in a designated No-Passing Zone.”
He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex, and his bond was set at $151,000 in total.
The projected first-round pick is accused of killing former U.S. Marine Herman Hall and injuring two others.
The 24-year-old began his college career at Louisiana in 2020. After 2 seasons playing for the Ragin’ Cajuns in Lafayette, he joined LSU ahead of the 2022 season.
He recorded 58 catches for 866 yards and nine touchdowns over 12 games in 2024.
