Alison Hammond revealed what she thinks is the ‘sexiest thing’ a man can do to impress her as she made a rare comment about her boyfriend on Friday’s This Morning.
The 50-year-old and co-host Dermot O’Leary, 52, took to the sofa to present the latest episode of the ITV programme.
The pair were joined by Nick Ferrari, 66, and Sonia Sodha, 44, to discuss the latest headlines.
One topic that came up in conversation were the ‘rules’ of being a modern gentleman – which included examples such as greeting someone with a single kiss on the left cheek, never using the phone in the gym changing room and not vaping indoors.
After suffering a technical blunder, Nick returned to the screen and told them: ‘Here is one that is not listed – this is the one, the one that has always worked for me, if you’re sitting particularly with some friends and a dinner table, or a charity event, when your wife/girlfriend gets up to leave the table…’
Dermot then got up from his chair and Nick continued: ‘Exactly that! Dermot knows.

‘Dermot knows the form…
‘When she comes back, let’s see if Dermot is still with me… here we go again… and that is an absolute winner.’
Alison said: ‘I’m not going to lie, that has happened to me and it’s probably one of the most sexiest things I have ever ever seen.’
Sonia asked: ‘Is it a way to your heart?’
Dermot joked: ‘When you say it’s happened to you, do you mean in the morning meetings?’
Alison confessed: ‘Obviously my boyfriend does it every time I come home.’
The former Big Brother star is currently in a relationship with David Putman, 28.
The pair started dating in October 2023.

Alison likes to keep their romance out of the spotlight, but does sometimes share snippets into their relationship.
David works as a model and Russian massage therapist.
However she did speak out about marriage back in May.
She told Heat magazine: ‘He loves it. He just supports me. Anybody who I bring into my life supports me and whatever I do.
‘They’re so happy for me.
‘I don’t like to go into detail about him, because it’s my private life, and I want to respect his life as well.
‘But you know I’m loved-up, everyone knows that!’
When asked about whether she would like to get married, the ‘This Morning’ star didn’t rule it out.
She said: ‘I’d never say no. I might marry myself…’
In December last year the star told Good House Keeping that they fit together ‘like a jigsaw’.
Alison said that he is ‘so mature and sensible, and I’m so not.
‘And the things he says to me… they’re just so lovely.
‘It’s like a jigsaw; we fit and it all comes together.”
