Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the most famous couple in the world. Of course, they have their competition, but in terms of sports couples, there could be a new couple on the rise as Kansas City gets set to take on the Buffalo Bills this week.
Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023 after months of rumors. They confirmed the ordeal in September of that year, and of course, Taylor Swift fans went insane and became protective of their famed so-called leader.
However, fans have been constantly calling on Taylor and Travis to get engaged for quite some time now. It’s reached the point where some fans are slowly starting to shift focus to one of the NFL’s most recently engaged couples.
Buffalo Bills star quarterback recently revealed that he proposed to his long-time girlfriend, actor and singer Hailee Steinfeld, in late 2024. The news came less than a month after the couple hosted a Halloween party for his teammates, and now fans want Steinfeld to do the unthinkable.
Could Hailee Steinfeld v Taylor Swift Be The Next Big Thing?
According to some posts on X, some fans are rooting for Hailee Steinfeld to make the trip to Arrowhead and show up for her soon-to-be hubby’s game against the Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce-led Kansas City Chiefs.
Now, fans don’t just want Steinfeld to show up at the game to support her fiancee; they want the singer and actress there as a competition for the spotlight that Taylor Swift gets during the many Chiefs games she attends.
“Allen/Steinfel over Kelce/Swift,” goes one fan.
“Hailee Steinfeld >>> Taylor Swift. Debate a wall,” adds another.
“They show Taylor Swift a hundred times a game, but CBS Sports can’t give us one shot of Hailee Steinfeld?” questioned one fan.
One fan even made their opinion undoubtedly, saying, “If the Super Bowl has to be ‘star player and his woman’ focused like it’s a reality show, I can’t say this strongly enough: Josh Allen + Hailee Steinfeld > Travis Kelcie + Taylor Swift, by a country mile.”
The number of fans posting to X rooting for the soon-to-be-married couple over Kelce and Swift is insane, and who knows, if the Bills end up winning the AFC Championship, we may see Steinfeld make a Super Bowl appearance herself.
