Fresh allegations could come to light relating to Andrew. Just hours after the man formerly known as Prince Andrew was stripped of all royal titles, a royal biographer has claimed fresh allegations could come to light.
The bombshell announcement from Buckingham Palace was widely discussed on Good Morning Britain, fronted by Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray. In recent years, the former Duke of York has come under fire due to his links with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
He has also been accused of having s3x with Virginia Giuffre, who was just 17 at the time. She alleged she had been trafficked by Epstein and his girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. Virginia claimed that Epstein and his girlfriend had taken her to Tramp nightclub in London, where she met with Andrew and later had s3x with him that night.

Ms Giuffre claimed that Epstein had paid her $15,000 after sleeping with Andrew. During an interview with BBC’s Newsnight in 2019, Andrew vehemently denied the allegations and told host Emily Maitlis he had no recollection of meeting Virginia. Andrew vehemently denies all allegations made against him. On Thursday, Buckingham Palace announced that the King had started the process of stripping Andrew of his titles, and he, with immediate effect, will be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
During the discussions on GMB, royal biographer Andrew Lownie claimed that there is a “second victim” who has not been named yet. He added that “thousands of pages of material” naming Andrew in the Epstein files. Speaking to fellow biographer Valentine Low and ITV’s Royal Editor, Chris Ship, Ranvir said: “We had the author Andrew Lownie on, and he has intimated that there are other victims who may be willing to speak up now. Is this really the end of the matter for the Royal Family, or are you both looking down the line and thinking, could there be even more?”

Mr Low responded: “I think there could easily be more. But the point about the action taken yesterday is that those stories will still be massive stories. They’ll get huge headlines and it doesn’t matter if Andrew is living in a council flat in Deptford, they’ll be huge stories – but those stories will last for a day or two.”
Chris added: “There will be stories about victims, which is the important thing. It doesn’t really matter whether Prince Andrew, as you say, denies all the allegations against him. But the key thing now is they’ve put this as much separation as they can possibly get between the institution of monarchy and the person now known as Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor.”
Mr Ship also stated he believed that when Andrew announced two weeks ago he would stop using his Duke of York title, he “didn’t want” to share his thoughts going out to victims of Epstein’s crimes, whereas King Charles and Queen Camilla shared theirs on Thursday.

“Yesterday, the King and Queen said, our thoughts are with the victims of s3xual violence and will remain so. So I think it’s worth pointing that out,” Chris said. Meanwhile, Valentine believed that the Queen had played a “strong part” in the bombshell statement.
The Queen has been a fierce advocate for victims of rape and s3xual abuse. Mr Low said: “I think Queen Camilla has played a strong part in that statement. The strong expression of sympathy for the victims of abuse, which you’ll note, the statement starts off by saying, His Majesty, and then, when it gets into that statement, it’s their Majesty. That’s Camilla’s voice.”
On Thursday, the palace said: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.
“Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him. Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
