News regarding the Philadelphia Eagles’ decision as it pertains to the visit extended by the White House has triggered a conversation on social media.
The Eagles have the option of visiting the official residence of the President of the United States following their Super Bowl win earlier this month. They rejected the offer when they won the Lombardi in 2018, and one of their captains revealed that this year’s decision would be the result of a team vote.
The Sun has since cited a “well-placed insider” who has revealed that most of the players voted against going.
Most Fans Seemed To Agree With The Philadelphia Eagles

As noted above, the development promoted rife reactions on social media.
“Love this Ownership, Organization AND THIS TEAM LETS GO BIRDS. Oh yeah!!! Resist!!” a user wrote.

“The Philadelphia Eagles have declined visiting the White House after Super Bowl win. That’s my fucking team baby,” another declared.
“Winning on and off the field!” said a third.
“As they should have The #Eagles 🦅 reportedly DECLINED to visit the Whitehouse after winning the Super Bowl !!!” a fourth added.
“They can get McDonald’s in Philly 😂,” someone laughed.
“They’re good at football. Don’t mean they’re politically smart,” someone else suggested.
The Eagles declined the invitation the last time around because of Donald Trump’s criticism of NFL players who knelt during the national anthem.
It is worth noting that they haven’t confirmed the above, but it does appear that folks do not expect them to grace the White House with their presence this time around, either.
VIDEO: Obnoxious Philadelphia Eagles Fan Lost His Mind & Tried Fighting Police Officers During Super Bowl Victory Celebration On The Streets

An obnoxious Philadelphia Eagles fan tried baiting police officers into throwing down with him during the Super Bowl 59 celebration.
Jalen Hurts and Philadelphia defeated the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 to secure the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy in eight seasons.
Unfortunately, during the victory celebration, many Eagles fans got out of control and engaged in violent acts on the streets of Philadelphia. According to city police, close to 50 people were arrested on Sunday, including five for assaults on officers.
As Philadelphia police tried to keep things under control, cameras caught one angry Eagles fan attempting to fight multiple officers after they prevented him from jumping over a gate. Thankfully, there was no violence here as multiple fans held back the fan and prevented the confrontation from escalating.

Eagles supporters have a reputation for being a lot more passionate and boisterous than most other fanbases. It’s one thing to have tremendous passion for your team, but it’s disappointing when a few hooligans have to ruin the excitement for the real fans and citizens of Philly.

Another Lombardi Trophy For Eagles Fans To Celebrate
The Flyers and 76ers have sunk to total irrelevance, and the Phillies haven’t been able to build off their unexpected run to the 2022 World Series. But none of that matters in Philadelphia right now, because the Eagles finally got their hands back on the Lombardi Trophy after a seven-year wait.
