This Morning’s Dermot O’Leary left Alison Hammond open-mouthed after he snubbed her with an unfortunate slip of the tongue during the show.
Friday’s instalment of the ITV show saw the pair return to our screens to chat to a range of guests and present a number of different segments.
The pair explained what viewers could expect during the show – and that was when Dermot made a huge mistake.
Alison told viewers: ‘Drag Race judge Michelle Visage is joining us live in the studio to tell us all about her brand new musical based on that film Edward Scissorhands.’
Dermot then chimed in: ‘But I’m not going to lie Jos, erm.. Alison.’
There was an awkward silence in the studio before Alison clapped back: ‘Did you just call me Josie?!’

Dermot replied: ‘Well. For a good reason!’
He continued: ‘We have got huge news because of Josie.
‘We’ve been nominated for an Oscar.’
Dermot was making reference to their co-star Josie Gibson.
And the reason why is because Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl has been nominated for Animated Feature Film at the Oscars.
Josie took on the role of a naughty gnome in the movie and helped them create a scene.
Josie, 40, has been on the ITV show since 2019, and became a stand-in co-presenter two years later.
Back in 2020 it was revealed that Alison and Dermot would replace Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford as presenters on Friday.

Alison and Dermot have been presenting Friday’s instalment of Loose Women since 2021
The pair started hosting the ITV programme in 2021.
Meanwhile Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley present the show Monday to Thursday.
They took over the roles from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Later on in the episode, Alison and Dermot spoke to creators of Wallace and Gromit creators Merlin Crossingham and Nick Park.
But before they got chatting about their potential new gong, they spoke to Josie.
The star was in the car, about to go for a spa weekend with her pals for her birthday.
Josie told Dermot and Alison: ‘I’m 40 today, can you believe it, me, an Oscar nominee?’
This Morning’s Instagram account also sent over some birthday wishes in a sweet post.
They wrote: ‘Our Bristolian queen is 40 today! From all of us here at #thismorning we wish you the happiest of birthdays!’
Jordan North wrote: ‘Happy birthday Josie! We love you.’
Clodagh McKenna Herbert added: ‘Happy birthday beautiful you deserve everything this year, you are pure sunshine. Love you ♥️♥️♥️.’
Sian Welby chimed in: ‘Wooooooo.’
