TV presenter Piers Morgan shared his thoughts on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the UK – and he didn’t hold back. Speaking on his show, The Royals Uncensored, he slammed the Sussexes as he said: “They’re going to come back, bring the circus… and bring the whining!”
In a blistering rant, the former Good Morning Britain host said that he “feels sorry” for the Royal Family as they have “managed to rebuild themselves after some shattering blows” including the deaths of Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth. He went on: “And then these two going off to California and trashing them for years, calling them a bunch of callous racists. The damage they have caused around the world and around the Commonwealth to the integrity of the Royal Family and the monarchy is incalculable.”
Piers then noted that King Charles and Princess Catherine had both had cancer which is a “terrible thing” which would be “devastating for any family, but they are the senior royals.”
“Just as they’re coming into a sunnier period, they get this,” the TV host continued. “Blindsided by these two coming back.”
Sharing his own reasoning for Harry and Meghan returning to England, Piers sniped: “I think it can be subbed down to they’re running out of cash and they want to put themselves right back at the seat of royal power so they can be enriched by association.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, returned to the UK last week to begin a new life after six years living in the US.

The family is said to be settling in the UK for an “extended period” of time amid speculation as to how long they will stay and where they will live, with the Cotswolds being suggested as the most likely destination. It’s understood the couple will not return to being working royals.
While King Charles has not commented publicly on the return of his youngest son to Britain, he is reportedly feeling pleased about the fact that Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, will be living closer to him.
This is because until this summer, the monarch had not seen his two grandchildren since 2022. This would have been “hard for him” to deal with, a former royal butler has said.
