Emmanuel Acho is getting blasted online as fans are accusing him of unnecessarily bringing race into the Kyren Lacy tragedy.
The FOX Sports analyst addressed Lacy’s d3ath by suicide on ‘The Facility’ this week, following the former LSU wide receiver’s chase with police that resulted in him shooting himself after crashing his car.
Lacy was considered a future first-round pick after starring for the Tigers and leading them in touchdowns scored last season (9). But things went way south when he got involved in a hit-and-run accident that cost a 78-year-old man his life and injured two other people.
The wideout declared for the NFL Draft two days later but had his Combine invitation revoked after he turned himself in to police in relation to the fatal incident.
A grand jury was to be presented with evidence this past Monday; however, the 24-year-old killed himself two days before the hearing.
Acho and two of his colleagues at FS1 discussed the tragic event earlier this week, with the former NFL player asking people why it’s so hard for young, black men to open up and talk about their issues.

The question did not sit well with viewers, who accused Acho of race-baiting as they sounded off in the comments.
“How does this turn into race? Like wha? Mental health affects anyone and everyone no matter what skin color you are. Stop separating it as if black men and women suffer from it worse than anyone skin color Acho..” one wrote.
“Omfg man he’s turning the show into his YouTube channel. This is a complete bs topic,” said a second.
“Once again you guys separate yourselves. It can’t just be for all young men regardless of color. You guys separate yourselves more and more,” a third noted.
“Black men aren’t the only race who suffer from mental illness! Every race suffers from mental health🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ why couldn’t yall say “young men” ? Lol,” someone else offered.
Meanwhile, Lacy’s agent has accused the NFL of playing a role in his client’s d3ath.

Kyren Lacy’s agent has called the NFL out in a scathing statement following the wide receiver’s d3ath.
Lacy, a former prospect, took his own life after crashing his vehicle while trying to evade police in Houston last Saturday. He was facing serious charges for his involvement in a hit-and-run accident that caused the d3ath of a 78-year-old U.S. Marine veteran named Herman Hall in December.
The WR was supposed to have a court hearing this past Monday.
His agent, Rocky Arceneaux, has put the NFL on blast for revoking his Combine invitation after his arrest in January.
Lacy had declared for the draft two days after the accident, but he saw his shot at a professional career erased in the wake of the incident.
Arceneaux has released a statement via ESPN’s Adam Schefter in which he ripped the league for deeming Lacy guilty before such was proven in a court of law.

“To the NFL, shame on you for revoking Kyren’s Combine invitation without acknowledgement or consideration of the facts,” he wrote.
He added:
“I urge you to re-evaluate your processes and provide athletes with the necessary due process before alienating them from their peers and dreams they’ve worked so hard for.”

Rocky Arceneaux also criticized the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office for rushing to charge Kyren Lacy to appease the public.
“Shame on the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office for being more concerned about public perception – and pressure to charge someone – than actually investigating the facts,” he added.
Lacy was expected to be a first-round pick in the upcoming draft after leading LSU in touchdowns with nine last season.
According to his attorney, he declared for the draft because he did not believe he was at fault for the accident and “continued with his daily activities.”
We will never know how good he could have been as a pro.
