In early February, the most anticipated dog sporting event of the year, the 14th Puppy Bowl XIV, took place in the US.
According to Fox News, the event was held in a stadium-style space, attracting 90 dogs, and was televised on Animal Planet.
The competition aims to raise awareness of animal rights. Up to now, the competition has been held according to tradition: There are two teams, Ruff and Fluff, dressed in blue and yellow, competing to put as many animal toys on the field as possible.
Each year, this formula will change a bit. For example, this year, the event will be held on a newly built field, equipped with cameras around the field to cover the entire low angle of the field.
Another new feature this year is the Dog Bowl event, which will be broadcast the night before the famous American Super Bowl, featuring large, adult dogs. The event attracts about 40 dogs, especially the four-legged “celebrities” on the social network Instagram.
