The Arch Manning era in Texas has officially started after Quinn Ewers passed the torch.

In the 2024 regular season, most of the Texas narratives revolved around the two quarterbacks and who would be the starter for 2025.

Ewers changed that conversation after he decided to take his talents to the NFL.

Months before his first start of the 2025 season, a few students at the University of Texas were quizzed on how much they knew about him.

The question was simple: “Who is Arch Manning’s dad?

Only one of the six people quizzed got it right, as the final guy correctly said, “Cooper Manning.”

Here is how a few people reacted to this:

“Oh no 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️,” one fan said.

“Embarrassing,” another fan added of fans not knowing that question about Arch Manning.

“Uhh, the main manning , didn’t even mention Eli lol,” a third fan stated.

“These fans faker than Alabama fans 🤦🏿‍♂️ ain’t no way you wearing burnt orange talking about Peyton manning is arch dad 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 when you can go to the official roster page & it will tell you everything you need to know,” a fourth fan commented.

“I weep for this generation. 😭😂,” one last fan added.

Will Arch Manning Live Up To The Hype?

Arch Manning is taking over as the Texas Longhorns starting quarterback, but can he live up to the hype?

Manning’s first game as the unquestioned face of Texas football will be against the same team Ewers faced in his last: Ohio State in Week 1.

After just two starts and less than 100 passes thrown in his career, the hype train is in ful lthrottle and everything he does will be under a microscope.

It remains to be seen if Arch can live up to it.
