Meghan Markle ‘wants to reconcile’ with Princess Kate but has one condition
Meghan Markle is reportedly open to repairing her fractured relationship with Princess Kate, but the Duchess of Sussex is said to have one firm condition before any attempt at reconciliation can take place.
The reported development comes just days after Meghan and Prince Harry returned to Britain with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, following years of living in the United States.
Their return has immediately reignited speculation surrounding the Sussexes’ relationship with the wider Royal Family, particularly Prince William and Kate.
According to a report attributed to the National Examiner, Meghan, 45, is believed to want to rebuild bridges with Kate, 44, but allegedly has no intention of being the one to “beg” for forgiveness.
One source reportedly claimed: “Meghan won’t kneel to anyone, especially Kate.”

The same source suggested that the Duchess has established “very strong boundaries” to protect herself from experiences she considers deeply painful.
The claims are certain to fuel debate among royal watchers, particularly because the relationship between Meghan and Kate has long been the subject of intense public speculation.
When Meghan first joined the Royal Family, the two women were frequently seen together at official events. But after Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals and moved to California, their relationship was widely reported to have become increasingly distant.
Now, with the Sussex family believed to be spending a significant period of time in Britain, the possibility of the two women crossing paths again has become a major talking point.
The question is whether their return could create an unexpected opportunity for peace — or expose just how deep the old wounds remain.
For Meghan, reconciliation may apparently be possible, but not at any cost.

The reported condition has already divided opinion. Some royal commentators could see it as evidence that Meghan is unwilling to take responsibility for the past and expects others to make the first move.
Others may argue that reconciliation does not require one person to surrender their dignity or accept blame for every disagreement.
The situation is even more complicated because Harry and William are also understood to have a deeply strained relationship. Any attempt by Meghan and Kate to rebuild their bond could therefore have implications far beyond the two women themselves.

With Archie and Lilibet now spending more time in their father’s homeland, there could also be increased opportunities for the younger generation of the Royal Family to develop relationships away from the tensions that have surrounded their parents.
However, there has been no official confirmation from Meghan, Kate or Buckingham Palace that a reconciliation is currently being negotiated.
For now, the reported claims remain just that — claims.
But Meghan’s alleged stance has raised one explosive question among royal fans: if she genuinely wants to heal the rift with Kate, will she eventually be willing to make the first move — or will she stand firmly by her conditions and wait for Kate to come to her?
