Danny Jones’ wife is reportedly focusing on raising their son after being ‘hurt’ by the singer’s drunken kiss with Maura Higgins.
The McFly singer is believed to have given his wife a grovelling apology following the shock kiss with I’m A Celeb campmate Maura at a BRITs afterparty. However, Georgia has reportedly pulled out of all her upcoming work engagements, including an appearance at The Baby Show at London’s ExCel Centre with Kelsey Parker this weekend.
Amid the chaos, rumours started swirling that she and Danny are spending time apart after moving out of their west London home to deal with the fallout and the future of their 11-year-long marriage. Danny, Georgia and Maura have yet to speak out on the smooch, which occurred over the weekend.
However, an insider has claimed the couple – who share a seven-year-old son – are now on speaking terms and are trying to find a way forward.

“She loves Danny, but she is hurt. Georgia’s priority is, and will always be, her boy Cooper. She wants to protect him from all this madness,” a source told MailOnline. The insider said although she’s ‘more forgiving than most’, the kiss ‘might be one step too far’. The Mirror have reached out to Georgia and Danny’s reps for comment.
Danny, 38, was recently spotted in photographs with McFly co-star Tom Fletcher as they spoke to Queen Camilla at a celebrity event. The footage was pre-recorded and aired on Thursday’s The One Show, a special episode for World Book Day. Meanwhile, Georgia cancelled her upcoming work appearances as she was due to appear in public on Saturday (7 March) alongside her Mum’s the Word podcast co-host and pal Kelsey Parker at the Baby Show at London’s Excel.
But a source close to the former model said that the mum of one will not be appearing and she is having a tough time and has put all work on hold. An insider said to The Mirror that Georgia is also keen to shield the couple’s son Cooper from the very public fallout. “Georgia is struggling at the moment. She isn’t just having to navigate the circumstances, but doing it publicly.
“She has been humiliated. People are quick to forget there is a child in the middle of this mess”, they claimed. “Georgia is putting her focus into their son, Cooper. For now, Georgia will not be participating in any work commitments, including The Baby Show, and any podcast filming.”
