BREAKING NEWS: Prince Harry and Meghan’s royal dream has been shattered for good
It has been suggested there is no way back into the Royal Family for the Sussexes.

It is unclear whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK with any intention of somehow finding their way back into the Royal Family. But whether that was their aim or not, one thing now appears abundantly clear, they have no chance of returning as working royals. King Charles’s bombshell letter recently confirmed that there had been no change to the Sussexes’ position within the Royal Family.

It was an extraordinarily brutal slapdown from the King, making it clear that Harry and Meghan know exactly where they stand – and that is firmly outside the Royal Family they chose to walk away from. As I said, we don’t actually know whether Harry and Meghan wanted to return as working royals. But there is something rather amusing about the fact that, whether they wanted to or not, they have had absolutely no say in the matter.

The Sussexes responded by claiming they were surprised they had not been told about the King’s letter in advance and were caught off guard by it.
That claim was swiftly dismissed by Buckingham Palace sources, who said it was simply “incorrect”.
Royal Editor Russell Myers later appeared on News24 and said King Charles and Prince William were “united” in the belief that Harry and Meghan would have “no chance” of becoming working royals again.
“This is exactly what they asked for so what else should they expect?” he said, adding that it remains a “grey area” as to why Harry and Meghan have returned to the UK in the first place.
And, frankly, I think that is the question everyone is asking. Why are they here?
King says Meghan and Harry not working royals despite UK return
Since returning, the Sussexes have hardly been welcomed with open arms.

Residents in the Cotswolds have expressed their frustration over the couple’s presence in the area and they have been slammed for returning to the country they repeatedly spoke negatively about.
Now, Harry’s own father has made it as clear as it possibly could that there is no route back into royal life for them.
And somehow, it appears to be getting even worse for Harry. Uganda has pulled out of the Invictus Games, saying it will not participate in any event without King Charles’s approval.
Harry, unsurprisingly, has placed the blame firmly on King Charles’s letter.
When they left the Royal Family, their decision to build a life away from the UK made sense. They wanted independence, privacy and the freedom to carve out their own path, which is exactly what they got.
So why come back now, only to find themselves facing criticism, controversy and, most importantly, an extremely public reminder from King Charles that they are not working royals.
Harry and Meghan may be back in Britain, but they are not getting back into the Royal Family anytime soon.
