Mark Zuckerberg left people stunned when he dressed up as Benson Boone.
The 40-year-old billionaire and CEO of Meta, copied one of Boone’s look for his wife, Priscilla Chan’s 40th birthday party. The tech mogul donned a sequined blue jumpsuit, re-creating Benson’s iconic performance at the Grammy’s for his hit song Beautiful Things. Mark started his over-the-top performance in a tuxedo before revealing the glittering ensemble underneath.
He shared a video of the act with the caption: “Your wife only turns 40 once! Shoutout to @bensonboone for the jumpsuit and new single.”
Benson, who recently released he’s new single, Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else, appeared to approve of Mark’s lip-sync performance, commenting: “I can’t believe my eyes.” Reposting the clip to his own Instagram, Benson penned: “@zuck, you’re wild for this.”
In another video, Benson jokingly asked: “Mark, how did you get my jumpsuit? How?” He also commented on the discomfort of the outfit, saying: “I hope his nuts are okay,” and added, “That thing is so tight.”

Fans had mixed reactions to the performance, with some calling it the “cringiest thing” they had ever seen and referring to it as a “midlife crisis.” One fan quipped: “Somebody should tell Mark that impersonating someone else is against his own community guidelines.” Whilst another added: “The fact he has the funds to hire you but chose to impersonate you is crazy.”
It comes as Benson had a close call on stage at the 67th annual Grammy Awards but handled it with humour and grace. The Beautiful Things singer was seen experiencing a wardrobe malfunction on stage as he performed his smash hit song. Donning a light blue Elvis-themed jumpsuit with a deep v-neckline, the star commanded the stage, even landing a backflip from the piano onto the stage.

But at one point, it seemed that things could have gone sour. Benson was spotted adjusting his very tight-fitting trousers on stage when he suddenly mouthed “Oh, oh, oh!” before quickly regaining composure and saying, “Thank you,” according to lip reader Nicola Hickling. He then continued the show without a hitch.
In an interview with PEOPLE, ahead of the big night, Boone shared his excitement to be at the prestigious award show. “I’m doing really good. As you can tell, there’s a lot of energy flowing through my body right now,” he said. He continued: “This is very crazy for me. There’s a lot of cool people here. I’m really excited to perform.” Benson earned his first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and was one of many performers that night. He lost the award to Chappell Roan, but still gave his all for his performance.
