SAD SAV
This isn’t the first time Savannah has broken down in tears.
In November, she announced a new book project that she was working on.
“This is a very personal project you’ve been working on for quite a while, and today’s the day you get to tell us about it!” Hoda Kotb said on Today as she passed the segment over to Savannah.
“Today is the day, it’s so personal, and I’m so nervous, but you know, you guys all know, you’re closest to me, and I’m so passionate about faith, how it can challenge us and inspire us,” Savannah said.
Her voice cracked as she went on, “It is at the heart of a new project that I’m excited to reveal right now.”
She introduced her new book called Mostly What God Does alongside a clip featuring Hoda as she was seen exploring faith and how different people experience and celebrate it.
When the clip ended, Savannah explained that the book comes out February 20 and it’s about a “bunch of reflections on faith, love, kindness, and goodness.”
“I’m in tears, but really excited, overjoyed and scared,” she said, holding back tears.
“I hope it will be full of love and happiness for everyone.”
Savannah was softly crying by the end of the segment.
