Meghan Markle has put her foot down on Prince Harry making their lives all about him, an insider has claimed. The Duchess of Sussex, buoyed by her Emmy nomination, feels the Duke is wasting her energy after their recent England trip. The source said: “Meghan feels she’s done her bit to help him. She went to England, kept out of sight, and abided by all the rules because she knew how important the trip was.

“But now that they’re back home, she’s saying it’s time to forget about the royals and put their energy back into the life they’re building in America, which really means focusing on her and her brand.” The insider added that Markle wants Harry to stop centring everything on his royal battles so her needs can take precedence for a while, calling it more than fair. They concluded: “She’s getting this significant push in Australia and of course her show has been nominated for an Emmy, which is huge, and she has no intention of squandering the opportunity.”

Meghan Markle was criticised for “dodging” a very simple question during her latest appearance on MasterChef Australia.

The Duchess of Sussex appeared as a guest judge on the Australian cooking show on Sunday for an immunity challenge ahead of the semi-final.

Contestants were challenged to transform a staple ingredient into a dish “fit for a duchess”.

However, when she was asked which of her favourite meals to cook at home was, she appeared to struggle to find an answer.

King Charles dealt £10m blow as public interest for beloved cause plummets

King Charles has received some unpleasant news after a royal charity released its annual financial report, which showed a decrease in its net income by £10million, as well as visitor numbers to royal attractions and retail sales.

The Royal Collection Trust said in its annual financial report that the wave of interest in the monarchy, generated by major events like Charles’s Coronation, had boosted figures in past years and current economic conditions had an adverse effect on visitor numbers and income.

Meghan Markle was blasted by fans for “merching” her children after their recent trip to the UK.

The Duchess of Sussex recently uploaded a series of photos from her family’s summer trip to Europe. Their trips included visits to their Portugal home and Britain, including Princess Diana’s resting place at Althorpe.

Fan pages of the Duchess of Sussex have managed to ID her children’s clothes and now another account has shared a new post on social media, boasting about the “Sussex effect” as most of the items appear to be sold out or low in stock online.

While the duchess herself has never listed any of her children’s items on her OneOff fashion page, some fans criticised her for “merching” her children online.

A royal insider has explained the reality behind a Princess Beatrice moment that led to plenty of debate after Prince William and Princess Catherine’s 2011 wedding.

Meghan Markle made her first public appearance in weeks on Tuesday, just days after she returned home to California from her recent summer trip to Europe.

The Duchess of Sussex attended a special screening for one of her films, Cookie Queens, in Los Angeles.

Cookie Queens is a documentary about four girls who “strive to be a top-selling ‘Cookie Queen,’ navigating an $800 million business in which childhood and ambition collide” and Harry and Meghan executive-produced it through their Archewell Productions company.

The Duke of Sussex has lived in California since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, meaning he has spent much of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ childhood away from the UK.

Meghan Markle has reportedly sent a warning to Prince Harry ahead of any future visits to the UK. The father-of-two is said to be keen on making more visits to his home country, and bringing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet so they can spend more time getting to know their British roots.

Archie, seven, and his little sister Lilibet, five, have spent very little time in the UK, but recently paid a visit with both of their parents. Meghan – who last visited the UK in 2022 – made the shock return after previously reportedly sharing that she did not want to step foot back in Britain ever again.

The couple’s two children, prior to earlier this month, have also not travelled to the UK since June 2022.

Prince Harry could face a major financial blow after The Daily Mail’s publisher has demanded an initial £10m payment from the Duke of Sussex and fellow claimants after they lost their case against Associated Newspapers. This comes weeks after the High Court judge dismissed the claimants’ “speculative” £50m privacy claim, in which they accused the publisher of unlawful information gathering.

All the claimants lost their case earlier this month, with the High Court judge finding that none of their evidence was sufficient. The High Court has now heard today that the Mail’s publisher wants the claimants and their legal teams to pay costs on an ‘indemnity basis’. This would allow the judge to instruct the claimants to pay the full legal costs for both sides.

Meghan Markle has shared that “something sweet is arriving soon” in a new video on her As Ever Instagram account. The 44-year-old launched As Ever last year, and has released many products since the launch – which coincided with the release of her Netflix series titled With Love, Meghan.

The new video, which looks to be filmed in a garden at, or close to, her home in Montecito, shows Meghan picking berries dressed in white shorts and a blue shirt. She is also sporting a large wide-brim straw hat.

The caption reads: “A taste of late summer is almost here [white-heart emoji] Something sweet is arriving soon.”

Insider reveals the next time Archie and Lilibet could visit the UK

Prince Harry has reportedly got a very important date that he would like to bring his children to the UK. According to a source, Harry is keen to bring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet back to the UK later this year.

The 41-year-old travelled to the UK earlier this month, with his family scheduled to join him. After his request for police protection for the visit was denied, it was reported that Meghan Markle would remain with the children – likely in Portugal – whilst her husband carried out his visit to Britain.

However, just days after Harry arrived, it was confirmed that Meghan and their children were also in the UK – and had attended a private meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on July 10.

Prince Harry’s claims to return to court after huge humiliation for Duke

Prince Harry’s claims against the publisher of the Daily Mail will return to court today just weeks after the court ruling. The Duke of Sussex, alongside several other high-profile figures, claimed that Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) had taken part in unlawful information-gathering to produce articles.

ANL strongly denied the claims, which were heard at an 11-week trial in London earlier this year. On July 7, Mr Justice Nicklin dismissed the claims in their entirety in a 436-page judgment, believing there was not enough sufficient evidence from the claimants.

The claims are now set to return to court for a two-day hearing dealing with the matters arising from the judgment, which is due to begin at 10.30am. The hearing is expected to concern issues including legal costs, with ANL stating it has already run up costs of more than £50 million, and whether any of the group will seek to appeal against the ruling.

Meghan Markle has revealed what she says to her children when they ask if they can have dessert. The 44-year-old shares seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet with Prince Harry, with the couple welcoming their first child just one year after tying the knot in 2018.

Prince Harry has faced a brutal blow from members of the public after a poll found that many people do not want him to stay at Buckingham Palace on his next UK visit. The Duke of Sussex, who was in Britain earlier this month, is set to return to his home country in September.

This is a visit he tends to make every year so he can attend the Wellchild Award. While Harry, who quit royal life six years ago, normally stays in hotels, with friends, or with his Spencer relatives, it has been reported that King Charles will offer his son a room at Buckingham Palace. This offer comes after Harry was previously offered accommodation there this month for his UK stay.
