“Baby, I’m Sorry, Mommy Couldn’t Keep You” – Heartbreaking Moment: Today’s Dylan Dreyer Opens Up about her M1SCARR1AGE that Left Viewers in Tears!
Dylan Dreyer, meteorologist for TODAY, and her husband Brian Fichera are expecting their second child, but it hasn’t been easy. Last winter, Dylan shared she had a mi$carr1age and faced secondary 1nfert1lity.
“It was so much harder this time,” Dylan, 38, told People. “We weren’t sure we’d get pregnant or what kind of 1VF we’d need to try.”
The miracle happened just as they were about to start: “The day I was going to begin 1VF… the doctor called and said, ‘Don’t take anything, you’re pregnant,'” Dylan revealed on TODAY.
Despite the challenges, Dylan stays grateful: “Every night I pray and thank God for putting us here and not having to struggle any longer than we did.”
Now in her third trimester, she’s focused on helping her two-year-old son Calvin get ready. She shared on social media about family time and making a new ‘big boy bedroom’.
To make Calvin feel special, she added a baby countdown treasure chest: “Every day Calvin opens it and there’s a tiny gift from his baby brother – a toy car, stickers or Play-Doh, something to keep him excited.”
Dylan is due in January 2020, and fans can’t wait to meet the newest family member.
