SHOCK: Tess Daly Makes A Major Move Just As Vernon Kay Leaves The Family Home
Tess Daly Makes Bold Career Move as Vernon Kay Prepares to Leave Family Home
Tess Daly is reportedly throwing herself into a series of ambitious new projects as her estranged husband Vernon Kay prepares to move out of their Buckinghamshire family home.
The former Strictly Come Dancing presenter is said to be focusing on television, fashion, health and beauty opportunities as she begins a new chapter following the couple’s separation.
Tess, 57, and Vernon announced in May that they had decided to end their marriage, describing the split as amicable and insisting they intended to remain close friends.
Now, Vernon is reportedly preparing to leave the six-bedroom mansion they previously shared and relocate to another property around 15 minutes away.

The nearby location is said to have been chosen so the BBC Radio 2 presenter can remain close to the couple’s daughters, Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 16.
According to reports, Vernon’s new property is worth approximately £3 million and is currently undergoing renovation work. He is expected to move in once the building work has been completed.
Tess focuses on new beginnings
Although Vernon’s departure is reportedly an emotional milestone, a friend claimed Tess believes the separation is the right decision.
“It’s bittersweet,” the source said. “She’s sad her marriage didn’t work out. She wanted this to be for life, but she knows it’s the best thing.”
The insider added that Vernon moving out made the separation feel more permanent and represented the “end of an era” for the family.
However, Tess is reportedly determined to balance that sadness with excitement about her professional future.
“On one hand, it’s an upsetting time with her and Vernon moving on, but on the other, this is also a really exciting time which is all about new beginnings,” the friend claimed.
Tess already hosts a programme on Magic Radio but is said to have several other projects in development after stepping away from Strictly Come Dancing.
Tess plans project with daughter Phoebe
One area Tess reportedly wants to explore further is the health and beauty industry.
A source claimed she hopes to inspire older women while collaborating with major brands, using her profile and experience to reach a new audience.
She is also believed to be developing plans to work alongside her eldest daughter, Phoebe, whom the presenter has previously described as being like a best friend.

Tess teased a possible collaboration after posting a photograph of herself and Phoebe at an unidentified studio.
“No longer bring your daughter to work day, but working alongside her,” she wrote.
The pair are reportedly considering a YouTube show, with Tess believing that Phoebe could help the project connect with younger viewers.
No formal details about the proposed programme, including its title or launch date, have yet been confirmed.
Fashion brands remain a major priority
Alongside her broadcasting ambitions, Tess is eager to continue expanding NAIA Beach and NAIA Active, the fashion labels she co-founded with close friend Gayle Lawton in 2021.
The presenter has previously made clear that she sees the brands as a serious long-term venture rather than a celebrity endorsement.
“This is a bona fide business,” she said. “This is not an endorsement deal. This is my baby.”
Despite the end of their marriage, Tess and Vernon appear to have continued supporting each other publicly.
Following the separation announcement, Vernon thanked listeners for their messages when he returned to radio, saying the support had been “greatly appreciated” by both of them.
He has also continued interacting with Tess’s swimwear business on Instagram, liking and commenting on posts promoting the brand.
The reported house move may make their separation feel more final, but Tess appears determined to turn an emotional period into a fresh professional beginning.
