Katie Price has enraged fans with a post encouraging followers to buy a controversial product. The star has become heavily involved in promoting CBD oils – but fans think she’s gone too far with her most recent sales tactic.

In a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday, Katie sat with Serena Stregapede, the partner of boxing pro Anthony Fowler.

Alongside fighting in the ring, Anthony, 43, is the founder of Supreme CBD, which I’m a Celebrity star Katie, 46, has featured in many of her recent social media posts.

Yesterday’s video saw her talk to Serena about the daughter, Roma, she shares with Anthony – with model Serena claiming that a tumour in Roma’s leg ‘shrunk’ after using Supreme CBD, and fans were horrified. The Mirror reached out to a representative of Katie, who refused to comment on the post.

As Katie sat waving a bottle of the oil at the camera, she said: “They’ve shown me the pictures of before and after from using CBD where it shrunk it all.”

She added that while at first she was “skeptical” of CBD, we now “know it’s safe.” Serena added: “People were scared of it, but they don’t know until they try so you can’t knock it until you try it.”

Alongside the video, Peter Andre’s ex wrote: “Very serious chat with @serenasophiax and @afowler06 about their 2 year old daughter who had a tumour in her leg, they refused hospital treatment and healed her themselves which is amazing.

“They was telling me all about @supreme_cbd and how it works for fibromyalgia, arthritis, anxiety/depression any aches/pains or insomnia, I literally get people thanking me everyday this is started posting, I asked @supreme_cbd for a code to save you all money, use code Katie40 at checkout http://supremecbd.uk and save 40% on your orders.”

Anthony soon dived into the comment section, not disputing Katie’s claim that he and Serena “refused hospital treatment” but adding: “Hardest time of my life @supreme_cbd was only one of the MANY CHANGES, I made to make my little girls bodies able to heal herself.”

The boxer wasn’t the only person to comment, with many of Katie’s followers outraged by the claims in her post. “So you are advertising that CBD healed the tumour. Dangerous and disgusting,” one person wrote.

“This is f**king abhorrent,” said a third, with another writing: “This feels dodgy.” A fifth fan begged: “Please don’t post dangerous false information like this. People might take your word as fact and refuse medical advice. This sort of thing has caused so much harm!”

A final commenter urged: “Katie, you have zero medical or scientific qualifications, so how about you don’t use your platform to push health ‘advice’. Health is too important to mess with & vulnerable people can often look for the ‘easy solution’ when there isn’t one. Don’t endanger lives.”

Macmillan Cancer Support has written about the use of CBD and other cannabinoids on its website, where it states: “At the moment, there is no reliable medical evidence to show whether cannabis, in any form, can effectively and safely treat cancer in humans.”
