Charlie Hurt Appears on Fox News with a Black Eye – Reason Stuns Viewers!
Charlie Hurt, a Washington Times opinion editor, and Fox News contributor, appeared on a segment with noticeable bruises on his face and a whopping black eye that looks like he just got out of a UFC tournament.
His reasoning behind his appearance was a baffling one— a horse was apparently the perpetrator.
Yes, you read that correctly.
On Monday, Hurt appeared on Fox to speak on the CDC and school openings alongside Harold Ford Jr., a former Tennessee Congressman.

Before they spoke about United States news, Fox anchor and former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino wanted to address the elephant in the room— Hurt’s eye (no pun intended!).
“Before you beat up on the White House or the CDC, what happened over the weekend to you?” Perino asked.
“It’s probably unwise to get into a headbutting contest with a horse, but I stayed on,” he responded.
Oh wow.
“Well, you know what? I got to say, you’re a real cowboy,” Perino responded, seemingly believing Hurt’s explanation of getting into a headbutting contest with a horse.
Perino asked Hurt to tweet a photo of the horse that did this to him so they could see, and Hurt agreed to do it. However, it doesn’t necessarily prove that he and the horse got into a headbutting contest while he was on horseback.
As the conversation continued, Perino continues to joke, saying, “it kind of looks like I did when the shoe got thrown at the president in Bagdhad, and I got hit with the microphone.”
“See, @DanaPerino @BillHemmer horse wins head butting contest every time,” Hurt captioned the tweet about the horse.

Onlookers in the comments expressed how beautiful they thought the horse was while also giving him advice on the healing process.

“We all have an obligation, and I would say Fox News especially, especially Fox News, has a particular obligation to make sure people know the election wasn’t stolen,” Cheney responded directly to Baier.
