DUSTY – The secret “Child” Adopted by Fox News host Maria Bartiromo – family upheavals revealed for the First Time bring Tears to viewers’ Eyes!

Fox Business Network fixture Maria Bartiromo doesn’t have children—of the human variety, at least. Instead, she proudly owns Dusty, a rescue dog adopted after Hurricane Harvey devastated Texas in Aug. 2017. “Three years ago today, I was fortunate enough to take in this baby girl who was displaced in Hurricane Harvey,” Bartiromo shared on Instagram, adding #adoptdontshop.
Maria Bartiromo married Jonathan Steinberg in 1999. Their wedding, officiated by a rabbi at Quogue, N.Y., was covered by the New York Times. Bartiromo was 31 then, an anchor at CNBC, and Steinberg was 34, founder & CEO of Individual Investor Group and son of corporate raider Saul Steinberg.

Today, Steinberg leads WisdomTree, a $77.7 billion asset manager. But WisdomTree faces pressure as its stock fell 79% from its Aug. 2015 peak. Largest investor Graham Tuckwell and hedge fund Lion Point call to oust Steinberg: “WisdomTree needs a new CEO and enhanced board oversight to restore lost credibility with stockholders,” Tuckwell said.
Bartiromo once revealed her husband jokes he’ll write a book titled “Telephone” because she’s “always on the phone with sources.” “And with this pandemic, that’s only deepened because now … I’m working all the time,” she said in 2020. The couple bought a Manhattan townhouse in 2007 and a Hamptons home for weekends.
Meanwhile, Dusty is now a little celebrity herself, with 3,600+ Instagram followers at @dustybsteinberg. To Bartiromo, she’s more than a pet—she’s family.
