The second episode sparked fury with viewers
Fans of Celebrity Traitors have issued a major complaint following the conclusion of the second episode.
The celebrity edition is the first of its kind, with the previous three series consisting of members of the public.
Those taking part include Alan Carr, Cat Burns, Celia Imrie, Charlotte Church, Clare Balding, David Olusoga, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson, Jonathan Ross, Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont, Mark Bonnar, Nick Mohammed, Niko Omilana, Paloma Faith, Ruth Codd, Stephen Fry, Tameka Empson and Tom Daley.
However, Thursday’s episode saw the first murder reveal as well as the first Round Table.

Sadly for singer Ms Faith, Traitors Mr Carr, Ms Burns and Mr Ross decided she had to be the sacrifice.
The reveal was followed by the first intense meeting of the group, which can often become brutal, and the heat seemed to be on Ms Garraway and Mr Omilana.

Good Morning Britain presenter Ms Garraway addressed the subject immediately, starting at the Round Table: “People have mentioned that my name has cropped up.
“If anybody has been part of those conversations, can you say what came up? Because I think that would help us to understand what people are thinking of.”
“I mentioned your name,” singer Ms Burns confessed. “I think in the mission today specifically, I didn’t know whether your larger response to Paloma’s coffin being closed was an overcompensation or whether it was a genuine sort of fear.”
“We might consider amongst ourselves who we think is the kind of person who’d say, ‘yeah, I’d love to be a Traitor,” Mr Fry pointed out.
The actor and broadcaster continued: “On that basis, I felt – and again, don’t take this personally – that Niko was the kind of person who might say, ‘I’d love to be a Traitor.'”
As the Youtuber and influencer spent some time trying to defend himself, it seemed more likely he could be up for banishment.
The same went for Ms Garraway, who insisted she was simply a theatrical person and wasn’t over-acting to compensate for being a Traitor.
As the votes were being cast, host Claudia Winkleman updated viewers, explaining: “Three for Kate, three for Niko, two for Tameka… One for Tom.”

After hearing Ms Garraway and Mr Omilana individually speaking to the cameras about how they’d felt in the moment, the credits rolled.
Viewers fumed at the prospect of having to wait until next Wednesday for the reveal of the first banishment, and many vented their frustrations on social media.
X was flooded with complaints over the format choice, with one writing: “Gutted. I can’t see Niko not being banished with that cliffhanger. #CelebrityTraitors.”
“F***ing hate the cliffhangers! #CelebrityTraitors,” another fumed.
“The thought of not finding out who got banished until next fkn wednesday… #CelebrityTraitors #CelebrityTraitorsUK,” a third wrote.

Another stated: “Oh that’s out of order cutting it like that #CelebrityTraitors.”
Others were puzzled by the editing decision, with one asking: “Since when does The Traitors end on cliffhangers??? I’m sure we always got to see who died before #TheTraitors #CelebrityTraitors.”
“Why didn’t they just do three weeks with three episodes each? Two a week is annoying considering how bad they are for the cliffhangers in this show #CelebrityTraitors,” another echoed.
“That ending was a bit mean! #CelebrityTraitors,” someone else penned.
Addressing show bosses, someone else emphasised: “The producers of the show, we don’t need daily cliffhangers to tune in, we are all fully tuned I swear, please lay off the cliffhangers cheers #TheTraitors #CelebrityTraitors.” (sic)
