BREAKING NEWS: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘arrive in the UK today’, revealing something viewers never expected.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly landed in the UK. Harry, Meghan and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are believed to have flown privately from California to the country. The Telegraph has reported that the family has already landed in Birmingham.
It comes after reports last week revealed that the couple would be moving to the UK in August, likely to base themselves at a private property in the Cotswolds near London, although this remains unconfirmed due to security concerns. Archie and Lilibet have been enrolled in school, and the new term is due to start next week.

The Sussexes’ surprising move comes a month after they took Archie and Lilibet to see their grandfather the King for the first time in four years at his Highgrove home in July.
The Sussexes left the UK and stepped back from their royal duties in early 2020, before settling in California in March that year. They have not been in the UK together since 2022, when they attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Sussexes’ security arrangements in the UK have come under renewed scrutiny since news of their return emerged.

Last year, Prince Harry lost a legal battle over the level of protection he and his family can receive while in Britain. The Duke had attempted to challenge a decision to reduce his security after he stepped down as a working royal and relocated to the US.
It remains unclear what security measures will be put in place for the family during their time in the UK, or who will foot the bill.
Regarding the arrival in the UK a spokesman for the Duke and Duchess said: “This is not something we would comment on.”

It is believed the former Suits star, Meghan, will be pursuing an acting role amid reports that she remains in talks about a role in the third series of Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen.
The family is keeping their houses in Montecito and Portugal, and some say their stay might only be short-lived. They plan to live as an “international” family.
A source told The Telegraph: “How long will they stay? I don’t know, but it will be for an extended period. Whether that’s six months, a year, two years… who knows.”
The reported return coincides with Meghan’s latest addition to her As Ever range – Spiced Apple Butter. The jar of “orchard apples and fragrant spices” launches today.
The actress also posted an Instagram story in which she chuckled at what appeared to be a tea towel with the message: “People who take care of chickens are literally chicken tenders”.
Separately today, sources close to Harry claimed he “never really stopped missing home” after stepping down as a senior royal and leaving Britain for the US six years ago, the Daily Mail reports.
The Home Office has refused to offer information on the security arrangements as Harry and Meghan are believed to have arrived in the UK.
A spokesperson has said: “The UK Government’s protective security system is rigorous and proportionate.
“It is our long-standing policy not to provide detailed information on those arrangements, as doing so could compromise their integrity and affect individuals’ security.”
