“I was afraid of being seen as THRE@TEN1NG” – Michael Strahan’s sh0cking behind-the-scenes revelation that left viewers stunned – What Really Happened?

Michael Strahan “didn’t raise his voice” on the set of Live with Kelly Ripa because he feared he would be “seen as thr3atening,” according to reports.

The former NFL star is now a full time cohost on Good Morning America.

Michael, who hosted LIVE! before leaving in 2016, allegedly told ABC staff members he felt that he couldn’t “speak up and raise his voice” on the set of Live with Kelly Ripa, according to Page Six.

On June 4, Michael spoke out on racism with Bob Iger in front of all ABC and Disney employees.

According to the site’s source: “Michael said that there were some very tense situations with executives who got argumentative and loud on the show, and he was very aware he couldn’t speak up or raise his voice as he was worried he would be seen as thr3atening.”

During the discussion, Michael didn’t name the show, however, he allegedly alluded to it with his comments.

Following the announcement of Michael’s departure from the show in 2016, Kelly took a few days off.

When she returned, she congratulated Michael on his new gig, but brought up how “consideration” and “respect” is important in the workplace at the beginning of the show.

Before announcing Michael’s move to GMA, company brass allegedly told Kelly just “minutes” before.

Following the announcement, rumors started circulating that the former cohosts were feuding.

Years after the incident, Michael admitted in a New York Times article that the situation “could have been handled better.”

In the January 2020 interview, he alluded to the feud and said: “I’ve had jobs where I got there and felt like: Wow, I didn’t know I was supposed to be a sidekick.

“I thought I was coming here to be a partner.”

In a NYT's article, Michael claimed: 'Certain things that were going on behind the scenes just caught up'

He further explained: “I didn’t wake up and say, ‘I want a job at ‘GMA.’

“I was asked to do it by the people who run the network.

“It was really not a choice.

    “It was a request.

“But it was treated as if I was the guy who walked in and said, ‘I’m leaving.’”

Despite the feud, Michael gushed about Kelly during the interview.

He said: “I learned so much from Kelly, so much from Michael Gelman.

“When it was time to go, it was time to go.

“Certain things that were going on behind the scenes just caught up.”

Kelly now hosts the show with Ryan Seacrest.

Christopher Reeve's son Will Reeve to appear in new 'Superman' - Los Angeles Times

On Tuesday morning, an unexpectedly funny incident turned ABC reporter Will Reeve into a social media spotlight. While doing a live piece from home on Good Morning America (GMA), Reeve appeared on air without proper pants.

GMA screengrab Will Reeve no pants

The topic itself was quite high-tech: “What’s a creative, modern way to get medicine to people’s homes while keeping safe distance?” – Reeve asked, then answered: “Drones!”. For most of the segment, a lower-third banner conveniently covered his lower half. But towards the end, during a chat with hosts Amy Robach and Michael Strahan, a wider camera angle and smaller graphic exposed his bare leg and shorts.

Sharp-eyed viewers immediately caught the moment and posted it on Twitter. “Showing some leg on #GMA 🤣” – wrote Brittany Wesson. “Haha. #GMA put on pants bro!” – Dennis McCloskey teased. “@GMA this guy isn’t wearing pants!” – Brandon Senff shared with a screenshot.

Reeve, son of the late Christopher Reeve (famous for playing Superman), quickly replied on Twitter: “They’re shorts I promise”. He even joked about himself: *“I have ARRIVED, * in the most hilariously mortifying way possible”**.

This funny mishap didn’t just amuse the internet but also became a memorable moment in live TV history during the age of social distancing.

Michael Strahan supports ex-wife in unexpected move years after bitter $15 million divorce | HELLO!

Former NFL player turned daytime host Michael Strahan is now locked in an ugly legal fight with ex-wife Jean Strahan, accusing her of “physical and emotional mistreatment” of their twin daughters, Isabella and Sophia.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Michael, now 48, is seeking primary custody. He claims that Jean has shown a “pattern of harsh behavior” towards the girls for years and says he has evidence he’ll submit under seal.

Michael also alleges that Jean hasn’t been taking their 15-year-old daughters to court-ordered therapy sessions, and has been blocking them from going to volleyball and equestrian events.

Michael and Jean were married for seven years before a bitter divorce in 2006, where Jean got $15.3 million plus $18,000/month in child support. In 2009, payments were reduced to $13,000/month, after which Jean claimed Michael owed her over $500,000.

If Michael gets custody, Isabella and Sophia would move from North Carolina to New York City to live with him, where he hosts Good Morning America. He also wants Jean to get only limited visitation rights and to be held legally accountable for her alleged conduct.

Their conflict flared up again in January 2020 over child support disputes.

Michael joined the Good Morning America team in 2016

The legal b@ttl3 between Michael Strahan, former NFL star turned GMA host, and ex-wife Jean Muggli Strahan has become increasingly t3ns3. Jean now claims: “He had me followed around the clock” at her North Carolina home, where she lives with their twin daughters, Isabella and Sophia. Her lawyer, Shannon Rogers Simpson, said: “He b@tt3r3d her financially with lawsuits. That’s how determined he is not to pay the child support he agreed to ten years ago.”

Isabella and Sophia are their 15-year-old twin daughters

Michael’s lawyers denied it sharply: “The idea she’s under surveillance is absurd and can’t be proven.” Michael, 48, fired back accusing Jean of a “pattern of m3nt@l @bus3 towards the kids”, skipping court-ordered therapy, and blocking them from sports events.

Now, Michael seeks full custody and asks the court to hold Jean in cr!m!nal and c!v!l contempt. If he wins, the girls would move to New York with him; Jean would get only limited visitation.

The couple married for seven years before a bitter 2006 divorce, where Michael was ordered to pay $15.3 million plus $18,000 a month in child support. Before that, he had two other kids with first wife Wanda Hutchins. Today, Michael is worth about $65 million from his sports and TV career.

Michael Strahan 'jealous' of GMA co-star as he holds down the fort with two new anchors in latest shake-up | HELLO!

On Wednesday morning, Good Morning America fell into deep sorrow when veteran host Robin Roberts tearfully shared the news about the departure of Tony Greer, a cameraman who had worked at ABC for over six years. Tony p@ssed aw@y from complications caused by C0V1D-19.

GMA's Robin Roberts left emotional as she delivers 'painful and difficult' message | HELLO!

Speaking from her home’s dining table, Robin Roberts struggled to hold back tears as she told viewers: “We have incredibly tough news to share with everyone. Today is a sad day for our GMA family. We know the pandem1c has affected many, and now it has taken one of our own. Our talented studio camera operator, Tony Greer, has p@ssed aw@y due to complications from the v1rus.”

At 59, Robin fondly remembered Tony as a “bright light” with a spirit “so beautiful you could feel it from a mile away.” She shared that Tony loved his family, taking nieces and nephews around the city, loved his longtime girlfriend Robin, and enjoyed playing guitar with his band.

She paused to compose herself, then offered heartfelt condolences to Tony’s family and friends, especially his mother: “Your son was a good man, kind, thoughtful, and always a gentleman. You can’t ask for more than that.”

Other colleagues on the show also paid tribute. As of Wednesday morning, over 400,000 cases of C0V1D-19 had been confirmed in the U.S., with at least 12,857 d3@ths and more than 21,700 recoveries.

Michael Strahan Delivers Two Emotional Tributes After Heartbreaking News

Michael Strahan recently opened up about his past workpláce tensi0n with former co-host Kelly Ripa. In an interview with the New York Times, Michael didn’t mention Kelly directly but clearly hinted at issues between them. “I once showed up at a job and realized: ‘It’s not about the team. It’s s3lf!sh, and I don’t work well in that kind of environment,’” he confessed. He also admitted: “I thought I was coming in as a partner, but turns out I was just a s1d3kick.”

Why Kelly Ripa Is Getting Absolutely Blasted Over Recent Interview - Newsweek

Michael tried to fix things by setting up regular meetings: “We met a few times, and that was fine. But then she said she didn’t need to meet. You can’t force someone to do what they don’t want.” Despite this, he praised her: “If you look at the show, it hasn’t really changed since Regis Philbin. It’s a formula. You learn to tell a story so even drinking a glass of water sounds interesting. I learned that from her. She’s really good. If people think I hate her – I don’t. I respect how good she is.”

Speaking about his departure, Michael said: “I was asked to join [GMA] by network heads. It wasn’t really my choice, but people thought I just walked out. That was completely m1sh@ndl3d. People who should’ve handled it better apologized, but damage was done.”

In the end, Michael Strahan’s words revealed an honest yet respectful look into the tough dynamics behind TV.

Under fire: Perino made the remark during a discussion on the m::rd3r-s::1cide of NFL player Jovan Belcher, who sh0t and K his girlfriend before turning a G::N on himself

Fox commentators were discussing the implications of the crime and whether laws governing G::N rights should be reexamined in the aftermath.

Fox host Greg Gutfeld said the violence may have been prevented if Belcher’s girlfriend was carrying a G::N the night she was KL.

That’s when Perino, the former press secretary for George W. Bush, chimed in.

‘I think it skirts the issue,’ she said. ‘Women are victims of violence all the time.’

Gutfeld cut in and insisted, again, that more women should carry G::Ns.

‘Well, maybe, or make better decisions,’ Perino quipped.

Viewers lashed out at Perino on Twitter for the remark.

Perino isn’t the first commentator to draw the ire of viewers in discussing the touchy subject of G::N rights and domestic violence in the aftermath of Belcher’s mrd3r-s::1cide.

Fox Sports commentator Bob Costas angered viewers when he suggested that stricter G::N laws might have prevented the crime.

Costas praised a column by sports writer Jason Whitlock and told his viewers, ‘In the coming days, Jovan Belcher’s actions and their possible connection to football will be analyzed. Who knows? But here, wrote Jason Whitlock, is what I believe.

‘If Jovan Belcher didn’t possess a G::N, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today.’

Costas later defended his remarks, saying he didn’t have enough time to explain himself and that he was misunderstood.

‘What I was trying to say was, that if you want some perspective on this, there are a number of issues related to [Belcher’s m::rd3r-s::1cide] that we could begin to talk about and think about,’ Costas told sports radio host Dan Patrick. ‘The problem was that I didn’t have enough time to get to many of them. And that, I think, was my mistake to be quite honest.’

Fox News' Dana Perino says Gen Z is too obsessed with work-life balance: 'There are seasons in your life when you are going to work 18-hour days'It’s an understatement to say FOX News political commentator Dana Perino, 53—co-anchor of America’s Newsroom, cohost of The Five and host of FOX News Audio’s weekly podcast Perino on Politics—has a lot on her plate. From serving as press secretary under George W. Bush to becoming a cable news fixture, her years of experience make her uniquely qualified to share personal and professional life lessons.

That’s exactly what she’s done in her new bestselling book I Wish Someone Had Told Me…, a compendium of the best advice she’s gleaned from friends, colleagues, mentors and loved ones. It’s comforting to know that even in these politically polarizing times, good old-fashioned wisdom transcends party lines. Here, a few of Dana’s favorite success secrets.

Where is Dana Perino today? | The US Sun

    Ask ‘stupid’ questions

Dana assures one of the biggest keys to a flourishing life is deceptively simple: curiosity. “Mike Rowe, host of the TV show Dirty Jobs, shared a great piece of advice when he said this is the biggest asset an employee can have,” she reveals. “My favorite thing to do is ask a ‘stupid’ question.” That’s because, just as your mom told you, there’s no such thing. Case in point: Dana recalls not knowing the definition of a word that kept coming up at work, and rather than stay mum in a meeting, she asked what it meant. Turns out she wasn’t the only one wondering—but she was the only one with the courage to speak up. Indeed, showing a willingness to learn—and learn out loud—is the mark of a leader.

    Let yourself be loved

In 1997, Dana’s friend Kim Wilkerson gave her the push she needed to prioritize her heart. “I had fallen in love with a man randomly seated next to me on a plane,” Dana recalls. That man was British-born Peter McMahon, now her husband of 26 years. But when Dana met him, chasing romance meant risking her burgeoning career and uprooting her life to England. McMahon was also 18 years her senior, a fact that stoked her insecurities about what others might think of the match. Enter Kim’s unforgettable words: Do not give up on the chance to be loved. “It’s the best advice I ever got because it showed me that choosing to be loved is not a career-limiting decision—it’s a life-giving one.

“My parents are healthy, but that can change at any moment,” Dana admits, recalling the heartfelt advice of her co-anchor Bill Hemmer after the d3ath of his father. “He’s such a good son, and when his dad passed away in February, he told me the most important thing I can do is just listen—to my family, friends and my parents while I’m lucky to still have them. Whether at work or at home, I’ll put my pen down and make sure I’m not scrolling on my phone. Showing people your full attention is a gift you give others and yourself.”

    Send nostalgic texts

Having grown up on a ranch, Dana is an avowed morning person, waking before 5 am to catch up on the latest headlines. A soul-soothing part of her routine? “Whether it’s an article or a song on the radio that reminds me of them, if one of my friends comes to mind, I’ll send a quick thinking-of-you text,” she says. “It’s so easy and it gets my day off to a great start.” Sometimes words aren’t even needed. “I love sending memes that capture a memory—nostalgia is a really powerful way to stay connected.”

Dana is pictured with her husband Peter McMahon

    Ditch future worry

If Dana could give her younger self one piece of advice, what would it be? “Don’t worry away your 20s,” she declares. “I spent so much time anxious about my next move, but all you can do is honor your values and trust yourself. You’ll end up where you’re supposed to be.” Sounds like wisdom we can apply at any stage of life.

    Pay it forward

Perhaps the greatest life lesson Dana has learned is just how important it is to pinpoint one’s true purpose. “I received a wonderful piece of advice from psychiatrist Samantha Boardman, MD, who specializes in positive psychology. She said one of the most important things you can do is help others—it gives your life greater meaning and unleashes feel-good endorphins.” Indeed, Dana gives back to her community by contributing to charity and supporting other women embarking on careers in journalism. “Over the years, I’ve gotten a lot of joy from mentoring younger people and seeing them start to believe in themselves and really flourish.” Paying it forward like this, she says, is the ultimate reward.

Dana Perino To Launch Fox News Politics Podcast

“Before we get to any other big stories of the day, we want to address a situation many of you may already be aware of,” guest host Dana Perino said at the top of The O’Reilly Factor Wednesday night. “Bill O’Reilly, who hosted this program for 20 years, is leaving the Fox News Channel. We know that you, his very loyal viewers, will have a lot of feelings about this, and we will talk more about it later in the program.”

By the end of the show, his name had been stripped from the on-screen title. Now the show was just called The Factor.

As promised, after nearly an hour, Perino spent one minute discussing O’Reilly’s dramatic firing after more than two decades on the network, following several accusations of s3xual harassment in the workplace.

    Bill O'Reilly Is America's Best-Selling Historian | The Nation

“It is the end of an era here at the Fox News Channel. As we mentioned earlier, Bill O’Reilly is leaving this chair and this network after more than 20 years. Bill has been the undisputed king of cable news—and for good reason,” Perino said. “He is an incredibly talented broadcaster who raised the bar for interviewers everywhere. He has also held his staff to exacting standards in his quest to put the best possible program on the air, and they are great.”

She did not mention the $13 milli0n in s3ttlements that O’Reilly and Fox paid out to at least five different women. She did not say the words “s3xual harassment.” And she did not mention that the same thing happened last year to her former boss, Roger Ailes.

“And you, his audience, responded in record numbers, making The Factor the No. 1 cable news show for more than 16 years,” Perino continued. “You have also been loyal, and we can’t tell you how much that means to everyone on The Factor.” O’Reilly’s name was once again missing from the name of the show.

Perino quoted just one section of the memo that Rupert, James, and Lachlan Murdoch sent to staff members earlier in the day: “By ratings standards, Bill is one of the most accomplished TV personalities in the history of cable news. In fact, his success, by any measure, is indisputable.”

Then, she added her own final message. “We wish him the very best,” Perino said.

But it was hard to believe that she really meant it.
