Prince William has stepped out for an official engagement in Dartmoor on the same day his estranged brother Prince Harry celebrates his 42nd birthday.

According to the report, William decided not to personally receive the £1.5 million in annual rent generated by the property lease, instead redirecting part of the money towards the local community.

There is no official confirmation that William scheduled the visit to avoid Harry, and the suggestion remains the interpretation of an unnamed source rather than a statement from Kensington Palace.
The engagement itself had a clear public purpose centred on the launch of the community fund.
