Prince Harry has been branded a hypocrite less than one day after arriving in the UK. Prince Harry, 41, returned to the UK with his wife Meghan Markle, 45, and their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, on Wednesday (August 26), with the family landing in Birmingham via private jet. Royal author Robert Jobson has now accused Harry of hypocrisy over the move, questioning his decision to travel by private jet despite previously speaking out about the environmental impact of air travel.
Speaking to Kevin O’Sullivan on TalkTV, Robert said: “I find it all really hypocritical them arriving on a private jet costing god knows how, £9,000 an hour or something. “This a guy who’s an eco warrior telling everyone else not to fly and here he is flying in a private jet to Birmingham. These people are beyond advising but that’s not a great look, is it?”

He contrasted this with Prince William and Princess Catherine’s children, who have previously travelled on a budget airline.
“Just just play the game a little bit,” Robert urged, claiming Harry is an “eco warrior that lectures everybody else about how to behave”, then proceeds to fly on a private jet.
Kevin pointed out: “He’s a representative of an eco travel company in California that promotes the idea of ethical travel and how to get around the world without damaging the environment. Not high on their list of priority travel methods is private jets.
“Private jets are the worst possible damages of the environment.”
Prince Harry and Meghan’s return to the UK has been shrouded in controversy, particularly after the Duke of Sussex previously claimed he could not bring his family to the country due to concerns over their safety.
Their return comes six years after they stepped down from their roles as senior working royals and relocated to Montecito, Canada. Since then, Harry’s relationship with King Charles and Prince William has become increasingly strained.
To regain the Royal Family’s trust and win back support in the UK, Robert believes the Sussexes must apologise, first to King Charles and then to William and Kate.
I think there’s apologies owed both to the King, to the Wales family, William in particular, and Catherine, but also to the nation, for some of the things that have been said about our country, I think, are simply despicable,” he said.
“It’s too dangerous to bring his wife and kids here. Well, they’re here now.”
