Viewers were not impressed by one thing.

Strictly Come Dancing fans had a complaint minutes into the show (Image: BBC)
Minutes into Strictly Come Dancing viewers flocked to social media to issue a complaint. The quarter-final of the BBC dance competition on Saturday, November 6 was the iconic Musicals Week. The contestants and their pro parnters performed a spectacular opening number to a medley of popular songs from beloved shows as they took it in turns to showcase their talents. However it was the judges entrance that caused consternation with the fans. Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke arrived on set daning to the song One Night Only from the musical Dreamgirls. Fans were not impressed with their efforts and took to X to vent.
“The judges introduction dance is always so embarrassing you’d think they’d be able to choreograph a coordinated 10 seconds,” one raged. “It’s irritating to me that the pros and contestants can perform an opening number like that, then the judges and hosts can’t manage a few seconds of coordinated side-stepping,” another added.

A third chimed in: “The judges always mess up their little dance routine every week and it makes me wonder how they’re qualified to judge anyone.”
A fourth fumed: “You’ve got to admire the brass neck of Craig dancing like that every week at the start of the show then having the nerve to judge other people #Strictly.”
While viewers may not have appreciated the judges efforts they had universal praise for the contestatns following their showstopping opening.
“Such an amazing opening from all the professionals and the five remaining couples massive well done as always and here we go with Musicals week!” one gushed.

Meanwhile another penned: “THAT GROUP DANCE? OBSESSED. Amber doing what she does best always.”
The first couple to take to the floor to compete were YouTuber George Clarke and his partner Aleis Ware.
They performed an Argentine Tango to Point of No Return from record breaking musical Phantom of the Opera.
Following their dance they were surprised by a message from the shows creator Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber much to their delight.
