Big Brother star Farida slams Nancy as a ‘mean girl’ during secret return(Image: ITV)
Big Brother has welcomed back a familiar face. 2023 evictee Farida Khalifa headed back into the house via a secret room and shared some explosive remarks about current housemate Nancy Nocerino with fellow secret housemate Sam Ashby as she re-entered the show.
Following the fake eviction of housemate Sam, co-hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best revealed that Sam, Farida and controversial former housemate Emily Hewertson would be heading to a secret room to watch the other housemates before joining them again.
In the secret room, Farida and Sam got talking, and Farida branded Sam’s pal Nancy a “mean girl”. Last week, Nancy and Sam were caught out calling 20-year-old Jenny Baird “fake”, leading to a huge bust-up between the three of them. Ultimately, their fellow housemates put both Nancy and Sam up for eviction because of the situation, and that’s how Sam ended up being ‘evicted’ and sent to the secret room.

Weighing in on the situation, Farida said: “Unfortunately, [Nancy] is giving mean girls vibes.” Sam then asked if Farida thought his friendship with Nancy had put him “in a bad position”. The make-up artist responded: “If you align yourself with the wrong person, you’ve… it’s just the way it is.
“You’ve already had the experience where you nearly got chopped on the head, do you know what I mean? And that’s because of the person that you’re aligning yourself to, and it’s… it’s just food for thought.”

Sam was ‘fake’ evicted(Image: ITV)
In the secret room, Sam, Farida and Emily will be able to take part in behind-the-scenes challenges and control aspects of the main house before rejoining the group.
Emily was the first housemate evicted from this series of Big Brother. She was put up for eviction during the first episode by the public, along with Sam and Caroline Monk. When the decision was put to the nominated housemates, Sam and Caroline ultimately voted for Emily to leave after failing to be convinced she should stay.

Emily is also back(Image: ITV)
The evicted housemate was a controversial pick for the show, as she had already built a name for herself as a vocal advocate for the Conservative party. In her introductory clip, Emily told viewers that those who would “never kiss a Tory” are missing out and added that she was hoping to find her husband on the show.
Many fans were put off by her politics and feared her outspoken nature would lead to arguments in the house. Others were also put off by her clear desire to use the show as a dating opportunity and many headed to X to remind Emily that this was Big Brother, “not Love Island”.
Her return has also been controversial. One X user said it was “absolutely vile” to bring Emily back, given her vocal support of Donald Trump and Nigel Farage, and that they were “disgusted by ITV and Big Brother giving this evil woman a platform”.
Another said they would not be watching again, and another said: “WHY? Who’s next? Katie Hopkins? Perez Hilton? Satan? Way to kill a season.”
