Ben Shephard teased a possible cameo on Coronation Street during a brief appearance on Lorraine on Monday.
The popular presenter, 50, was asked about an cameo on the cobbles during an interview with actress Patti Clare, 49.
She was celebrating 15 years of portraying Mary Taylor on the show – a character who famously has a soft spot for Ben.

During the interview, Patti imagined a possible cameo from the presenter where he spends the day with her character.
Lorraine then attempted to see if such a thing would be possible, cutting to the This Morning studio, where a delighted Ben joked: ‘I’m ready!’

Mary’s love of the presenter on Corrie is so intense that she declared that she was spending Valentine’s Day snuggled up to her Ben-themed pillow.
But perhaps most eye-poppingly of all, the character even expressed a desire to have a Ben Shephard-themed funeral.
Lorraine said: ‘Now look, Mary is obsessed, I think it’s fair to say, with someone very close to here. Our Ben Shephard. She adores him, doesn’t she, and why not?’
Patti said: ‘Mary is deeply in love and very possessive of Ben Shephard, and as the years have gone on, it’s developed.
‘So, she does have a comfort blanket, she does talk about him constantly in Preston’s Petals.
‘It would be wonderful one day if Ben did come onto the cobbles and went to see Mary in Preston’s Petals and bought some flowers from her and they had a wonderful afternoon.
‘However, nobody believed her that he’d been there, I think that would be wonderful.’
Lorraine then cut to the This Morning studio to get Ben’s two cents on a possible cameo, asking: ‘Ben Shephard, Coronation Street cameo. Tell me, could it happen?’

Ben, who was all smiles as he appeared with his co-star Cat Deeley, 48, immediately replied: ‘I’m ready.’
He added: ‘Lovely to see you Patti.
‘Let Mary know that Ben Shephard is very excited… Willing and able.
‘I’ll be up there as soon as I can be.’
Lorraine went on to joke about what a possible cameo could involve.
The presenter said: ‘She will be absolutely over the moon.
‘I don’t know if Ben would actually escape from Mary.
‘I have visions of you tied to a radiator.
‘It could get a bit dark.’
