BREAKING NEWS: BBC legend David Dimbleby drops 4-word bombshell Palace claim over Diana – ‘real problem’
The veteran broadcaster has now shared his insight into what the Palace think of Princess Diana.

A BBC legend has spoken out this week and claimed that Princess Diana was “deeply resented” in the Palace when she was alive. This week has seen stories about Diana’s life, and death, come to light as her brother Earl Charles Spencer has had sections of his upcoming book ‘Swan Song’ serialised in The Daily Mail.
So far, a number of damaging accusations and claims from within the book have come to light, including the claim that King Charles – who was a prince at the time of his ex-wife’s death – said to Earl Spencer that the world will “forget” Diana “soon enough”. Diana’s brother also claimed in his book that the King was acting like a “lottery winner” after Diana’s death. The Palace did release a statement this week suggesting that grief can cloud “reason, judgment and memory”.
However, a former BBC presenter has now come forward and said that the Palace “resented” Princess Diana, saying in a shocking four-word statement that her personality was the reason for this.
As reported by The Daily Mail, he said: “That was deeply resented”.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4, the veteran broadcaster said: “Diana was the prime example of someone who didn’t act like the rest of the Royal Family – she was fresh, new and exciting to the public and they really adored her.
“And that was deeply resented in the Palace. And still is. And this kind of tit for tat over who said what, and only two people know what was actually said just reignites all that.”

He continued: “People are fascinated and I think whenever any tittle tattle reaches the public domain, people sort of think about it in terms of their own families.
“They all have problems and then suddenly… this family that is set up on a pedestal of being leaders of the country – they have problems too.
The full book “Swan Song” is out on September 22, and is likely to contain more damaging accusations.
It is not known if the Palace will release any more statements.
