Stefan Dennis and Dani Dyer stepped out to support their Strictly Come Dancing co-stars as they were spotted in the audience during Saturday’s live show.
The pair, who were both forced to withdraw due to injury, sat next to each other as they cheered on the other celebrities from the sidelines.
Neighbours actor Stefan, 66, pulled out this week after suffering a calf injury, while Dani, 29, fractured her ankle during training just two days before the launch.
Addressing the crowd at the start of the show, hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman said: ‘Stefan and Diane had to sadly withdraw from the competition this week as he sustained an injury.
‘He’s here with us tonight. Lots of love to you, Stefan, from all of us right now.’
Stephen said he was ‘devastated’ to have to pull out of the show after ‘finally gaining confidence’ in the competition.

Of his departure, Stefan wrote: ‘This morning I woke up to the most disappointing day of my time in my Strictly journey.
‘Just when I had finally gained the confidence to do well with my dancing in the competition and achieve more great dances along the way, I was told that on Saturday I had torn my calf so significantly that I am now forced to withdraw from the show.
I can’t tell you how devastated I am to have to leave so prematurely especially, as there has been, and still is, so much love and support from everyone for both Dianne and myself.
‘I owe both the Strictly Family and Dianne a massive debt of gratitude for giving me the opportunity to fulfil my dream of being able to dance with my wife. (When my leg is better).
‘Fun fact for all the avid Neighbours fans… it’s the same leg! [laughing face emoji]’
The post read: ‘Sadly due to an injury Stefan Dennis is leaving. We have loved watching Stefan and Dianne create magic on the dance floor with their Team Aussie energy. He will be sorely missed by the entire family. ❤️’
Following the news of Stefan’s departure, his partner Dianne wrote: ‘stefo I’m so sorry our strictly journey was cut short just as that confidence was starting to grow. But you can walk away with your head held high.
‘You can go home to your wonderful wife put your hand out and say would you like to cha cha cha with me the main reason for being on this show was to be able to dance with her and you can certainly do that now.’

She added: ‘You are the kindest human I have ever worked with and I can always say I got to dance with the iconic neighbours legend Stefan Dennis or as my dad calls ya Paul Robertson. Can’t wait for you to send me the video of you and Gail dancing together’
Stefan is the third star to quit Strictly, following Dani Dyer and Kristian Nairn who were forced to pull out. Kristian quit the series before it began citing medical reasons.
After bosses announced she was being replaced by fellow Love Island alum and West End star Amber Davies, Dani admited she has been ‘mentally tested’.
Dani spoke to her famous father Danny on their Live And Let Dyers podcast and revealed she refused to leave the house as she did not want to break down.
She recalled the exact moment she found out her journey could not go on – after she believed she could carry on: ‘We went and got a second opinion, I went and saw the doctor and I was like “What can we do?”
‘I went for the MRI and on the Tuesday I was getting ready to go to training, I was like I’ve got my ice machine, I’m just going to keep icing it, we’ll get through this…
‘And then she rung me in, Leanne, and she was like “Dani, I’m really sorry, you can’t compete you’ve got a fracture” and I was like what?’
Danny then revealed that there was talk of him being her substitute, to which she said: ‘Honestly dad it’s been so heartbreaking, I think I needed to grieve it.
She said: ‘That’s why I couldn’t leave the house because I knew if someone said to me ‘Are you ok Dani?’ I would just cry’.
Dani was paired with Nikita Kuzmin on the show and revealed his heartbreaking response to the news, saying: ‘Nikita didn’t speak for two minutes when she called him to tell him she had been told to drop out. For me mentally it has just been really testing’.

On the debut show, Dani said: ‘It was really hard watching the launch show… It’s been so heartbreaking and I think I needed to grieve it’
She admitted her heartbreaking fears over why she suffered the accident, revealing she spoke to a therapist because she thought she was a bad person which culminated in her having the accident.
On the debut show, she said: ‘It was really hard watching the launch show… It’s been so heartbreaking and I think I needed to grieve it, but like you said I need to get my big girl knickers on’.
The Daily Mail broke the news that Dani of the departure, which she later confirmed in a statement reading: ‘I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny.
‘I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle.
‘Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l’ve had to pull out of the show.
‘To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement. I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.’
The accident occurred before Dani even got to perform one routine.
Bosses had hoped that Dani would go far in the competition, but it was announced last Tuesday that she could not continue in the competition.
