“SO TIRED OF THIS FARCE”: -Prince Harry and Meghan savaged over UK visit
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest trip to the UK was bound to divide royal fans, and public opinion is still rather split.

Public opinion remains split after Harry and Meghan’s UK visit, with some people speculating on the couple’s true intentions behind the move. Harry and Meghan, who live in California with their two children, saw their trip caught up in drama and controversy before they even arrived.
Prince Harry had not gotten the security for his family that he hoped for, which meant he arrived solo at the beginning of last week, having originally planned to bring his wife and kids. It was then revealed that Meghan would follow Harry over to the UK, although she would not be making any public appearances during her time back in Britain. This was indeed the case, as followers of the Royal Family got no sight of the couple’s highly anticipated reunion with King Charles III over the weekend.
Now that the trip is done, the conversation is still hot amongst royal fans and followers of the couple.
In a recent interview with US entertainment publication, People Magazine, one individual involved heavily in the Invictus Games said that Harry truly showed his dedication to the tournament.
“Bearing in mind how much he’s got going on in different facets of his life, he’s showing how dedicated he is to the Invictus movement,” said David Wiseman. “[Harry’s] committed so much of his time and energy to the Invictus Games Foundation, events and everything that’s building towards the games in 2027.”
Meanwhile, Head of the Birmingham games, Helen Helliwell, said that Harry always brings a “sparkle” and “magic” to the organisation, and that he is much more than a patron.
While Harry gets a glowing review from his Invictus colleagues, critics of the former senior royal were more sceptical of the 41-year-old Prince’s latest UK visit.
Several avid Royal Family followers took to Reddit to share their reactions to Harry and Meghan’s visit. One went as far as to say Harry “showed the world (again) he was a petulant game-playing blackmailer”.
Meanwhile, another said: “I am just so tired of this farce, from every party involved. It has belly flopped into the absurd, where the lunatics are running the asylum.”
A third wrote: “Harry is only committed to Brand Sussex. Invictus is but a vehicle to be used for Brand Sussex.”
Others have said the UK visit wasn’t as successful as the Sussexes had hoped, with one royal author describing the disappointment he believes Meghan feels about not getting snapped by a photographer.
