Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to have their security in the UK reviewed, it has been revealed. The couple moved back to the UK last month, with their shock decision to relocate revealed just days before their arrival.
Issues surrounding Harry’s security have been a major source of tension between the Sussexes and the Home Office committee, which is responsible for determining security arrangements for high-profile royals and politicians. It has now been revealed that the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) has written to the Duke of Sussex and informed him that his situation was discussed at a meeting last week.
It has been reported that a full review will be granted as the couple’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have started school in the UK this month.
The official review carried out by Ravec is called a Risk Management Board, and it has now been decided that Meghan will also have her own reassessment.
It will be the first review of the potential threats for Meghan since the couple moved to the US in 2020.
The only protection the Sussexes have currently been given by British police is a phone number for a police liaison officer.

As a member of the Royal Family and a high-profile war veteran, Mike Tapp MP, a former intelligence analyst who served three operational tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, previously told GB News that Harry could face an “enduring threat”.
It has been reported that the family have not made it clear how long they will be in the UK.
