Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are back in the UK and this poses a tricky situation for the monarchy, to say the very least. And the Duchess of Sussex may have just shown us what is in store as the couple settle back into life in Blighty. Yesterday, it was reported that a massive “fanfare” was made of Meghan’s first public appearance since touching down.
Expert Tom Sykes said in The Royalist that she ventured outside her privately-rented home, arriving at Soho Farmhouse just days ago for a nice, relaxing morning. The duchess apparently spent time in the lounge area above the main restaurant.
A source said a “fanfare” was made of her arrival and that she was introduced to staff members at the celebrity hotspot in the Cotswolds.

This leak will not be the first, as, despite her and Harry not being working royals, they will be sure to travel around and people will always make a big deal of it.
The Sussexes will no doubt revel in the attention and coverage, as they always do, even though they don’t admit it.
Do not be surprised if we get pseudo-royal visits, as their trip to Australia earlier this year was described.
Prince William and Princess Katherine may rightly find themselves on edge, as this latest development suggests Harry and Meghan are not going to stay quiet in the UK.
Their mere presence is bound to stoke gossip and manufacture hard decisions for King Charles and potential conflict with the heir to the throne.
Does he pretend they are not here, or does he invite them to family gatherings, like the one at Sandringham at Christmas time, and can they attend with other non-working royals, like Zara Tindall and Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice?
If reports are to be believed, William would not accept the latter as he still — correctly, I might add — resents his brother’s conduct.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to be “concerned” about the Sussexes’ return and this latest outing could leave them furious.
Broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News: “Prince William is said to feel that Harry and Meghan have spent years attacking the institution, then monetising their grievances through a very lucrative media operation.
“From his view, it’s an ongoing campaign for maximum impact and self-gain. He’s not going to fuel it, and he’s not going to endorse behaviour he sees as damaging.”
Closer reported that sources suggested Princess Kate is “scared Meghan will try to cause her more humiliation”.
Meghan’s latest appearance suggests she still relishes being treated like royalty — this certainly won’t help to put the Waleses, loyal working members of the Firm who people should actually pay attention to, at ease.
