Meghan Markle is set to narrate Prince Harry’s film about his late mother, Princess Diana. The Duke of Sussex is reportedly planning to produce a television film about the late Princess to mark the 30th anniversary of her death next year, according to a Substack post by Rob Shuter.
Meghan was initially reported to be a “behind-the-scenes supporter”, but now is said to be planning to “become the voice of Diana’s story” and a “central figure in the film”, with a production insider saying that her role “won’t be a cameo”. The insider added: “Harry may be the son,” but Meghan would be “the voice viewers hear,” with Harry planning to involve Diana’s friends and family in the project.
The reported plan is said to have left Prince William furious with a source telling Rob Shuter: “William believes Diana’s legacy belongs to him. Harry making his own film is one thing. Meghan becoming the narrator of their mother’s story is something else entirely. That will be extremely difficult for William.”

The Substack added that the Sussexes believe that there are “powerful parallels between Diana’s battles with the palace and press and their own experience”.
Express.co.uk has approached a representative for Meghan and Harry for comment.
The reported plan comes just weeks after Harry and Meghan moved back to the UK with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

The pair are said to be living in a £12million mansion near the Cotswolds, where Archie and Lilibet are now attending schoo, and were reportedly disappointed by the lack of a welcome from King Charles, who lives nearby at his Highgrove residence.
With Charles and Queen Camilla travelling to Scotland for a series of royal engagements shortly after Harry and Meghan’s arrival, Meghan was said to be put out.
A source told GB News: “She wasn’t expecting a tea party or anything official, but it would’ve been nice to have some sort of signal from Charles that he was happy to have his son& grandchildren back in town.”
