BREAKING NEWS: Meghan Markle ready for major business deal with King Charles: ‘a real hit for Brits’
Meghan Markle ‘ready for major business deal with King Charles’ as Duchess eyes major UK boost for As Ever

Meghan Markle is reportedly setting her sights on an ambitious new business opportunity in Britain — and this time, the Duchess of Sussex is said to be hoping King Charles himself could help take her lifestyle brand to the next level.
The former Suits actress has once again found herself at the centre of intense speculation following reports that she could be preparing for an acting comeback, with rumours linking her to Guy Ritchie’s series The Gentlemen.
But acting may not be Meghan’s only major ambition.
According to claims cited by Closer magazine, the Duchess is also looking towards Britain as a potentially lucrative market for As Ever, the lifestyle brand she has been working to develop internationally.
And reportedly, Meghan has a rather ambitious idea for how to make an impact.
Rather than simply targeting British customers, she is said to be hoping for a business connection with her father-in-law, King Charles.
The potential move is particularly intriguing because the monarch already has his own successful range of products through Duchy, including the much-discussed Duchy Originals jams and other food and lifestyle goods.
One source told Closer: “In an ideal world, she would have her jam on the shelf beside King’s Duchy’s jam, and she doesn’t see why that’s not possible.”
If such a collaboration ever materialised, it would undoubtedly attract enormous attention.
For Meghan, being associated with a royal-backed product line could provide As Ever with a powerful introduction to British shoppers. It could also give the Duchess something even more valuable — a visible sign that relations with the Royal Family are becoming less hostile.
The insider claimed Meghan would particularly welcome public encouragement from Charles.
“If things go well with the King, the hope is that he will publicly show her and her brand some support,” the source said.
Even a seemingly small gesture could potentially create headlines.
“A photo of them together that’s shared to social media, or even just a positive comment on one of her posts, would mean the world,” the insider added.
Such a development would be remarkable given the turbulent history surrounding the Sussexes and the wider Royal Family.
Harry and Meghan stepped away from royal duties in 2020 before moving their lives to the United States, while subsequent interviews, Harry’s memoir Spare and public discussions about life within the monarchy created further tension.

Yet recent reports have fuelled speculation that relations between Harry and his father could be entering a different chapter.
Meghan’s reported business ambitions come as she also mourns the death of Gloria Steinem, whom she described as a friend and mentor. Steinem died earlier this week at the age of 92.
Meanwhile, As Ever remains a central part of Meghan’s plans for the future.
The brand was originally launched as American Riviera Orchard before being renamed As Ever in February 2025, with Meghan positioning it around lifestyle, food and personal branding.
Expanding into Britain could therefore represent a significant step.
But whether King Charles would ever agree to publicly endorse, promote or collaborate with his daughter-in-law’s commercial venture is another question entirely.
For now, the reported idea remains just that — an ambition.
Yet if Meghan could somehow place As Ever alongside the King’s own Duchy products, it would create an extraordinary commercial and royal crossover.
And it could give the Duchess the kind of British publicity that money alone cannot buy.
