BREAKING NEWS: Prince Harry and Meghan torn apart after bombshell reaction to King Charles ‘exposed’
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said the couple were left surprised by a letter sent on behalf of King Charles clarifying their non-working royal status.

TalkTV presenter Kevin O’Sullivan delivered a brutal verdict as he claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were desperately attempting to restore their royal privileges. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the UK three weeks ago along with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
In a letter sent to the couple on behalf of King Charles, the monarch stated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be working royals who are allowed to carry out official engagements. The letter, from royal aide Lord Benyon, makes clear that the couple cannot use their HRH styles, and any operational security issues involving them should be directed to the relevant police authorities. It also stated that any charity work they undertook would not be on behalf of the royal family. Harry and Meghan were said to be taken aback by the letter. A spokesperson for the duke stated: “We were a little surprised to not have been told about this in advance.”
Now, the broadcaster has dished on the Sussexes’ one-word reaction to King Charles’s letter, as Kevin claimed they went “ballistic”.

Speaking on his Drive Time show on Monday, he commented: “These two did think they could bluff their way back into royal duties and back into the Royal Family.
King Charles has done what the British public are desperate for him to do. To put these upstarts back in their place. He said, ‘You can come back to this country but you are not in the royal firm. You are private citizens. You can do what you like but don’t you dare go around pretending that you are acting on behalf of the Royal Family.’
And Harry and Meghan have gone ballistic about it, haven’t they?”
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield agreed, claiming new reports suggested Harry believes the letter has jeopardised his pursuit of receiving taxpayer-funded security.

She added the letter could have ruined their chances being labelled “private citizens” as opposed to “public figures” who would be protected under RAVEC – The Royal and VIP Executive Committee.
They decide security for royals and public figures and Prince Harry has previously complained about a lack of adequate police protection in the UK.
Kevin remarked: “Harry and Meghan seem to think they were treated very, very badly because they felt they should have the right to reword the King’s letter to decide what should and shouldn’t go into that letter.”
He then fumed: “Who the hell do they think they are?”
The letter is understood to have been shared with the Sussexes’ office at 1.59pm on Monday, 7 September, and 20 minutes later, staff responded and said it was keen to “clarify one or two points”.
At 3.06pm, the letter was shared to the media, and the aides were told this at 3.11pm. Harry was in a meeting at the time and could not be contacted until 3.09pm.
Buckingham Palace said that there was “nothing controversial or new” in the letter, when asked why the Sussexes might not need to be consulted.
