BREAKING NEWS: Prince Harry b0mbshell leaves furious GMB viewers ‘switching off’
GMB viewers were left furious as Earl Spencer’s shock bombshell recieved air time.
Good Morning Britain viewers took to social media with fury after the ITV programme addressed Earl Charles Spencer’s bombshell remarks about King Charles. In addition to claiming the monarch acted like a “petulant child,” the ninth Earl alleged that the then Prince of Wales said “we’ll forget her soon enough” during the preparation of Princess Diana’s 1997 funeral. During GMB, it was revealed that Diana’s younger brother also weighed in on Prince Harry’s ongoing security row and stated that it “needs to be examined”.
Journalist Ashna Hurynag shared that Earl Spencer claimed that “his nephew’s experience echoes that of his sister, Princess Diana.” The programme aired a clip from the 62-year-old’s damning BBC interview in which he stated: “I personally worry about the fifth in line to the throne who served in the military not having any police protection, it does worry me. As an uncle who has seen his sister die in very, very preventable circumstances, I would veer towards protection.” The report sparked backlash with viewers as one fumed: “Should we give him airtime, turn off my TV every time he comes, News STOP.” Another hit back: “Of course, he claims to know things. Just another grifter hoping someone will offer more money for his grubby little stories.”

Taking to social media, another blasted: “This again? Nobody cares….. he’s selling a book and will say whatever boosts sales, and you are all buying into it. Pathetic.”
“Why, it has absolutely nothing to do with Earl Spencer? I suppose if he wants Harry to have security, Earl Spencer can get them to work for him, and he can pay for it. Althorp House can become even more of a theme park,” claimed a fourth.
The Duke of Sussex was stripped of his automatic high-level security protections when he left the UK and stepped down from royal duties in 2020.
The committee that oversees royal and VIP security, known as RAVEC, deemed that his formerly automatic protections would be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, as and when Harry would visit the UK.
He then entered a bitter legal battle to reinstate them, ultimately resulting in a loss last May, which he described as a “good old-fashioned establishment stitch up,” but now RAVEC are said to be reconsidering Prince Harry and Meghan’s level of police protection now that they are once again full-time residents in the UK, along with their two children.
Earl Spencer’s upcoming new memoir, titled Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, contains the alleged details of his explosive row with King Charles, which resulted in the monarch telling his former brother-in-law: “Rest assured, we’ll forget her soon enough,” in addition to details about their marriage.
Buckingham Palace hit back at the claims as a spokesperson said: “While we do not comment on books as a matter of principle, His Majesty is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise, even many years after such a loss.”
