BREAKING NEWS: Emma Willis’ The Voice replacements ‘revealed’ after she lands Strictly gig
Emma Willis will be back at the helm of The Voice UK when the programme returns this month, but questions are already being raised over whether her long run as host could be approaching a major turning point.
The presenter has fronted the singing competition since 2014 and remains in place for the upcoming 2026 series. However, reports suggest ITV could be considering a different presenting set-up for 2027, with Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon among the names being linked with the show.
For now, nothing has been officially confirmed by ITV, and Emma is still very much part of the programme.
The new series begins on Saturday, August 22, at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX. The episodes were actually filmed in 2024 after ITV chose to rest The Voice UK throughout 2025.
There will already be one noticeable change when viewers tune in. Kelly Rowland is joining the coaching panel in place of LeAnn Rimes, while Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am return alongside McFly stars Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher.
But attention is already beginning to turn towards what could happen once the 2026 run is over.
Emma Willis’ Growing TV Commitments
Emma has been closely associated with The Voice UK for more than a decade, but her workload away from the programme has continued to expand.
Alongside hosting Love Is Blind UK with her husband Matt Willis, she is also taking on a presenting role with Strictly Come Dancing later this year.
That growing schedule comes as reports claim The Voice UK bosses may be looking at Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon as potential additions to the presenting team in 2027.

According to The Mirror, Alesha and Stacey are being lined up for roles on the programme, with the pair having already worked together on Britain’s Got Talent.
Stacey recently stepped into the ITV talent show alongside Alesha when Simon Cowell was absent, and their partnership is said to have caught the attention of people behind the scenes.
An unnamed source claimed the pair had “brilliant energy together” and were enthusiastic about the possibility of working on The Voice UK.
Exactly what their reported involvement would look like remains unclear.
One suggestion is that Stacey could take on a backstage role similar to the job previously held by Marvin Humes, who left The Voice UK in 2016. However, ITV has not confirmed that plan, nor has the broadcaster announced how any future presenting responsibilities could be divided.
That distinction is important because, despite speculation about Emma potentially being replaced, there has been no official announcement saying that she is leaving the programme.
Alesha Dixon And Stacey Solomon Linked With 2027 Series
Both Alesha and Stacey already have long histories with ITV entertainment shows.
Alesha rose to fame as a singer before becoming one of the most recognisable judges on Britain’s Got Talent. Stacey first became known to viewers through The X Factor before building a successful presenting career of her own, including hosting Sort Your Life Out.
Their previous appearance together on Britain’s Got Talent has now fuelled the suggestion that ITV could pair them again.

Maya Jama had also previously been linked with The Voice UK, but she publicly dismissed the suggestion when asked about the reports.
“Oh yeah, so funny – I’m not hosting that,” the Love Island presenter said.
That leaves Alesha and Stacey at the centre of the latest speculation, although representatives for the two stars and ITV have been approached for comment.
And Emma’s position may not be the only part of The Voice UK facing questions ahead of 2027.
Coaching Panel Could Look Different Too
Separate reports have suggested that Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher could potentially step away from the coaching panel after two series.
The McFly stars have a number of other projects in the works which could make committing to another full series difficult.
Tom is involved in plans to take Paddington: The Musical from London’s West End to New York, while both he and Danny are also working on McFly’s eighth album.
A source quoted by The Sun claimed that although the pair would have liked to return, their other commitments could make that impossible.
Again, no departure has been formally announced.
For viewers, that means there are currently several possible changes being discussed around the programme, but very few confirmed decisions beyond the 2026 series.
Emma remains host. Danny and Tom remain coaches. Alesha and Stacey have not officially joined the show, and ITV has not announced a new presenting structure for next year.
The Focus For Now Remains On 2026
Before any potential 2027 overhaul becomes clearer, ITV still has an entire series to broadcast.
Emma will once again guide viewers through the competition, while Kelly Rowland makes her debut as part of the coaching line-up alongside Tom, Danny, Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am.
After the programme spent 2025 away from ITV’s schedules, its return will also give viewers their first chance to see how the latest line-up works together on screen.
Only after that may the bigger questions surrounding Emma’s future become easier to answer.
She has spent more than a decade as the familiar face at the centre of The Voice UK, so any eventual change would represent a significant shift for the programme.
For now, though, reports of Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon stepping in remain exactly that — reports rather than a confirmed changing of the guard.
