BREAKING NEWS: Meghan and Harry savaged for turning ‘important role’ into ‘circus’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of turning their reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla last month into a “circus”. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, alongside their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, went to Highgrove on July 10 to reunite with Their Majesties.
While the meeting was kept private, the build-up and rumours about whether it would take place have been criticised by royal author Robert Jobson. This is because it happened at around the same time as lots of political upheaval in the UK Government, including Andy Burnham’s bid to become Prime Minister. Mr Jobson argued this is what King Charles’ should have been in the news for – not whether Harry and Meghan were “coming for tea”.
Speaking on Royally Unfiltered to host Kinsey Schofield, Jobson said: “It made it all so trivial. It’s (the monarch) a very important political and powerful role, and it’s just been turned into a circus by Harry and Meghan, and for their own benefit.”
Meghan Markle reveals heartbreaking ‘surprise’ about life in the Royal Family
Meghan Markle officially joined the Royal Family in 2018 when she married Prince Harry. Not being from a royal background herself, the Duchess has revealed what surprised her most about life in The Firm.
Meghan and Harry first met and started dating in 2016, and their romance quickly blossomed. Harry confirmed his relationship with Meghan in November of the same year, via a statement through his spokesperson, because “his girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment.” Meghan first realised life in The Firm was not what she expected when she met Princess Catherine and Prince William for the first time.

Princess Beatrice has a close relationship with her uncle, King Charles, despite not being a working royal. The princess, 38, may not carry out work for the monarchy, but she is still very much part of the Royal Family behind closed doors.
Despite having a tough year following her parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s scandals, Beatrice is believed to have been supported by royal relatives. This support is likely to include her uncle King Charles, who reportedly pays for her apartment at St James’s Palace. It is believed that the pair have always been close, and this hasn’t changed despite the scandals surrounding Beatrice’s parents.

Lady Louise Windsor’s younger brother has got a job at his uncle King Charles’ Sandringham Estate this summer, it has been reported. James, Earl of Wessex, has been spotted over the last few weeks driving tractors around the estate.
It is believed the 18-year-old is helping with farmwork at Sandringham while he has no education to complete over the summer. It is not known what he is getting paid for his summer job. James, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie’s son, is currently waiting for his A-level results.

Meghan Markle slammed for ‘selling marriage to Harry’ for publicity – ‘it’s not natural’
Meghan Markle has been accused by a royal expert of “selling her marriage to Prince Harry” as a brand move for herself. The Duchess of Sussex, who quit royal life with her husband in 2020, has been trying to establish herself in the world of celebrity for six years.
This has seen her start up podcast series, TV shows, take part in interviews, and even launch her own lifestyle brand As Ever. Each of these projects has had varying success, with Meghan also making a public Instagram account last year. Since then, Meghan has used her Instagram to share both career highlights and personal family moments.

Prince William is said to still be “wary” of his brother, Prince Harry, despite his latest attempt at reconciliation during his recent trip to the UK. The Duke of Sussex came back to Britain in July and held a private meeting with the King.
Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and Queen Camilla were all present. Buckingham Palace only confirmed the meeting after it had taken place, and so far, no details about what was said or done during the private family affair have emerged. Harry’s meeting with his father sparked hope for a possible path to future reconciliation.

Prince Harry was “less reciprocal” of Meghan Markle’s affections during their red carpet appearance on Friday, a body language expert has said. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were all smiles as they stepped out at the David Foster Foundation’s star-studded 40th anniversary gala.
The gala, which celebrates the foundation’s decades of providing financial support to Canadian families whose children require life-saving organ transplants, was held at the Victoria Conference Centre in Canada. While Meghan Markle, 45, was keen to put on a loved-up display with her husband in front of the cameras, it seems that he wasn’t as keen to do this. It also appears that Harry’s red carpet appearance looked like he had been “coached” on what to do, a body language expert said.

Meghan Markle has shared a new video of her and Prince Harry arriving at the 40th anniversary celebration of The David Foster Foundation in Canada on Friday. The video shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex walking through a corridor lined with bagpipers in kilts.
Both Harry and Meghan look amazed and delighted to see the bagpipers, taking time to talk to them and enjoy the moment. It is believed the sight of the bagpipers could be a fond reminder for Harry of his memories of Scotland, the country the Royal Family famously retreat to in the summer holidays. The video also features Harry and Meghan speaking, bringing with it some fresh revelations.

Prince Louis’ one sweet move at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow last week will positively have impacted the popularity of the Royal Family, an expert has said. Last week, Prince William and Princess Catherine took their three children to watch the sporting event in Scotland.
The family of five all looked happy to be there as they watched games from the stands and spoke with athletes. This included eight-year-old Prince Louis, who seemed to love the atmosphere of the whole day. While it is many years until he becomes a working royal, one expert said that Louis’ appearance at the games – and one sweet move he made – is likely to have done more for the popularity of the monarchy than “any other royal engagement this year”.

Meghan Markle’s birthday posts this week exposed her “biggest problem” when it comes to her popularity, an expert has said. The Duchess of Sussex celebrated turning 45 on Tuesday and marked her big day with some social media posts.
The main post was a photograph of Meghan jumping into a pool, holding up birthday balloons. The duchess then uploaded two videos onto her Instagram story, with the first showing her dancing around her kitchen wearing pyjamas and a t-shirt that read: “It’s Giving Mrs.” The second video showed her trying to put birthday hats on her two dogs, with her husband, Prince Harry, heard chuckling in the background.

I’m back in the hot seat after two weeks working as an announcer at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Inside the SEC at the bowls and para bowls, Team England had another incredible medal haul, winning three golds, two silvers and a bronze.
It was an amazing experience and it was great to see the Games were so well attended by members of the Royal Family. We had several visitors to the bowls, with the Duke of Edinburgh clearly loving it so much he popped in twice!
It was great to see our little-known sport get the attention of senior royals, and due to the cut-price Games only hosting 10 events, it also allowed for greater prominence in the press. However, my last day in the job on August 1, saw the ultimate collision of my day job and my hobby.
Having started work at 6am, introducing the athletes and chatting with the players, I rushed over to the Hydro for the afternoon as five special royal visitors were on their way – the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children.

Meghan Markle has shared a stunning new photo on Instagram of her and Prince Harry. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a surprise overseas appearance together last night, marking the first time they have been seen together since their UK trip just weeks ago. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were all smiles on Friday as they stepped out in Victoria, Canada, for the David Foster Foundation’s star-studded 40th anniversary gala. Fans have been quick to react to the post, sharing their love for the couple online.
Meghan and Harry both looked delighted to be back in Canada to support their friend as they stepped out on the red carpet. Meghan, who celebrated her 45th birthday this week, wore a strapless long navy gown by Canadian designer Greta Constantine. She also spotted a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings that previously belonged to Princess Diana.

King Charles met his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for the first time in four years earlier this summer. However, the reunion, which was confirmed by Buckingham Palace and the Sussexes, has remained largely out of the public eye with no photos shared in the media.
An expert has now revealed that the decision to keep the meeting behind closed doors was the King’s choice rather than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s. The private meeting, which also included Queen Camilla, took place at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire on July 10. It marked the first time the King had seen his grandchildren since Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022. However, he was adamant that the meeting would take place behind closed doors with no pictures or details shared with the public.

Princess Beatrice’s husband took to his Instagram yesterday and posted a gushing message to his “phenomenal” wife. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who just days before failed to acknowledge their wedding anniversary online – something he normally posts about – uploaded some photographs on Saturday of himself and his wife to mark her 38th birthday.
This included a photograph of them dressed up by a beach, and one of them on the day of Peter and Harriet Phillips’ wedding this summer. He then posted two other relaxed selfies of them together in the sunshine. He captioned the post: “Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love you so much. You make our world (earth emoji). Love E,W,S,A xxxx.”
Expectations varied as to what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would do next after stepping down as senior royals in 2020, but few thought they would exile themselves from the fold entirely. The late Queen famously rejected the couple’s brazen attempt at a half-in, half-out deal, but the acrimonious split that ensued surely went far beyond her imagination.
The couple’s accusations of racism, claims of rudeness and exclusion, and repeated airing of dirty laundry in the years since put them in a starkly antagonistic position – one that made a return to the Firm seem impossible. And yet Meghan’s lifting of the curtain on their return to Britain last month, bringing Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, for the first time in four years, betrayed a desire to ingratiate herself with the royals – or at least remind anyone listening of her children’s lineage.
